Letter: Clinton in news more than Bush
Saturday, Feb. 10, 2001 | 12:05 p.m.
I predict that Clinton shall be considered for the Nobel Peace Prize now that he is out of office. Milosevic is out of power due to the Clinton initiative in Kosovo, which did not take one casualty in the direct conflict, while Senior Bush's big mistake and failure, Saddam Hussein, remains in power after we lost a hundred or so troops in the war.
The GOP can't unring these bells!
It must be eating the stomachs of the GOP to know that in a recent straw poll in Israel, Clinton received 30-40 percent of the vote for prime minister. No foreign policy successes, the GOP said.
I predict that Bill Clinton shall dominate the media coverage for months to come, thanks to the Clinton-haters.
