Barbara Greenspun remembers 1981: Cost has more than doubled

In a column written in 1981, Hank discusses with our grandson the continuous acceleration in the cost of postage stamps. I wonder how he would explain the recent increase to 34 cents. In 1981 a letter could be mailed for 15 cents. The cost has more than doubled in 20 years.
