Allene Benjamin
Allene Benjamin, 83, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospice. She was born Nov. 11, 1917, in Jamestown, N.Y. A resident for one year, she was a retired clerical worker for a legal firm.
She is survived by her husband, Charles; one son, Norm Cordt of Las Vegas; and one sister, Lucille Gardinier of Lancaster, Calif.
Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling local arrangements. Morse Funeral Home, Brockton, N.Y., is handling out-of-town arrangements.
The family suggests donations to the Nathan Adelson Hospice, 4141 S. Swenson St., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
Bernadine Booth
Bernadine Booth, 66, of Las Vegas died Jan. 26 in Las Vegas. She was born March 28, 1934, in Gary, Ind. A resident for 10 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter, Bernadette Booth of Las Vegas.
No local services are private. Burial will be private. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Earl 'Frank' Conrad
Earl "Frank" Conrad, 95, of Henderson died Wednesday in a local hospice. He was born Feb. 6, 1906, in Westville, Okla. A resident for seven years, he was a retired owner-operator for a metal polishing company.
He is survived by two daughters, Jane Hester of Henderson and Donna Palmer of Fairbanks, Alaska; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be in Whittier, Calif. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Thomas Dowd
Thomas Dowd, 68, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 4, 1932, in St. Francis, Kan. A resident for five years, he was a retired restaurant and bar owner and a Korean War Marine Corps veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia; two daughters, Stephanie Wight of Las Vegas and Karen Donelson of Silt, Colo.; two sons, James Dowd of Clifton, Colo., and Tony Dowd of Arvada, Colo.; two sisters, Rebecca Davis of Denver and Iona Oldenburg of Commerce City, Colo.; 14 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Mary Lou Grayner
Mary Lou Grayner, 73, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospice. She was born April 17, 1927, in Phoenix. A resident for 27 years, she was a retired owner-operator of a flag company and president of the resident association of Sutton Terrace.
She is survived by two daughters, Melody Benedict and Randy Kopf, both of Las Vegas; one son, Steve Grayner of New Hampshire; one sister, Susan Verley of Apache Junction, Ariz.; one brother, Edward Chambers of Pinon Hills, Calif.; and six grandchildren.
Services will be 3 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will be private.

Fred T. Ishikawa
Fred T. Ishikawa, 69, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born May 14, 1931, in Long Beach, Calif. A resident for three years, he was a retired sales manager for an airline and a World War II and Korean War Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Dolores.
A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.
Marvin 'Zeke' Katz
Marvin "Zeke" Katz, 79, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 26, 1921, in Ohio. A resident for nine years, he was an entrepreneur in the retail industry and a Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret; two daughters, Phyliss and Barbra; one sister, Dorothy; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Mark J. King III
Mark J. King III, 67, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 15, 1933, in Paterson, N.J. A resident for 29 years, he was a retired criminal investigator for the Internal Revenue Service and a Korean War Army veteran.
He is survived by two daughters, Marta Grosskopf of San Antonio and Arlyn Rushe of Tampa, Fla.; one son, Mark King IV of Las Vegas; one sister, Marquita Daniels of Southern Pines, N.C.; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 5 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Burial will be private.
Lauren L. Lydon
Lauren L. Lydon, 21, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born June 7, 1979, in Pittsburgh. A resident for three years, she was a college student.
She is survived by her parents, Leo and Cheryl Lydon of North Versailles, Pa.
No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in North Huntington Township, Pa. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Mike Mack
Mike Mack, 54, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born April 3, 1946, in River Falls, Wis. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired baker and former governor of Black Mountain Moose Lodge.
He is survived by two sisters, Diane Mack of Las Vegas and Kathleen Bennett of Clayton, Wis.; and two brothers, Earl Mack of Las Vegas and James Mack of Riverside, Calif.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Black Mountain Moose Lodge, Henderson. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Courtney Jehu Perdue
Courtney Jehu Perdue, 57, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born Oct. 22, 1943, in Roanoke, Va. A resident for five years, she was a claims administrator for Sierra Health Services and Indemnity Insurance Co.
She is survived by one daughter, Samara Renee Perdue of Philadelphia; one son, Tarek Derval Perdue of Windsor, Conn.; two sisters, Brenda M. Debose of Roanoke and Beverly Carter of Millburn, N.J.; and one grandchild.
A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Friday in Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd. Burial will be private.

Peggy Rae Reid
Peggy Rae Reid, 58, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born April 22, 1942, in Selma, Ore. A resident for 25 years, she was a hotel housekeeping supervisor.
She is survived by her husband, Jeff Jr.; eight sons, Russel Noble of Cave Junction, Ore., Patrick Noble of Shady Cove, Ore., Greg Rising of Las Vegas, Ronnie Reid of Houston, Johnnie Reid of Grants Pass, Ore., Jeff Reid III of Granada Hills, Calif., and Matthew Reid and Mason Reid, both of Los Angeles; one daughter, Corrie Reid of Las Vegas; her mother, Emma Price of Grants Pass; one sister, Jean Yandell of Las Vegas; one brother, Wayne Price of Bryant, Ark.; 17 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. services Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

William E. Sickles
William E. Sickles, 66, of North Las Vegas died Monday in North Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 12, 1934, in Middletown Township, N.J. A resident for one year, he was a retired police officer and a Korean War and Vietnam War Marines Corps and Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Hilda H.; one son, William E. Sickles Jr. of Denver; one sister, Margaret Wolf, and his twin brother, Osborne Sickles, both of Highlands, N.J.
A memorial service was scheduled at 1 p.m. today at Nellis Air Force Base Chapel. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., handled arrangements.

Benjamin Silver
Benjamin Silver, 89, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 21, 1911, in Russia. A resident for 25 years, he was a retired food salesman.
He is survived by one daughter, Alicia Goroff, and one son, Frank Silver, and his companion, Ginger Perfrem, all of Las Vegas; two sisters, Tillie Dorfman and Betty Pauer, both of Boca Raton, Fla.; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were scheduled at noon today in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., handled arrangements.
James R. Zimmerman Sr.
James R. Zimmerman Sr., 54, of Henderson died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born July 5, 1946, in Montevideo, Minn. A resident for 16 years, he owned and operated a janitorial service and was a Vietnam War Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Rose; one daughter, Carla Zimmerman of Henderson; three sons, John Zimmerman of Alabama, James Zimmerman Jr. of Henderson and Frank Zimmerman of Leesville, La.; two sisters, Deloris Erdmann of Benson, Minn., and Lucille Zimmerman of Minneapolis; four brothers, Marlo Zimmerman and Delmar Zimmerman, both of Willmar, Minn., Leroy Zimmerman of St. Louis and Will Zimmerman of Edina, Minn.; and four grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
