Bandits establish scoring marks in win over Richmond

The Las Vegas Bandits set a franchise record and tied a league record for points scored in their 138-123 victory over the Richmond Rhythm at the Thomas & Mack Center on Tuesday night.
The Bandits (15-8) were led by J.R. Henderson's 30 points and 12 rebounds. Wayne Tinkle had his first double-double of the year with a season-high 25 points and 12 rebounds.
Eddie Gill poured in 21 points, Mike Jones contributed 17, and DeeAndre Hulett added 10.
The Bandits finished the first half with a Henderson 3-pointer at the buzzer, giving Las Vegas another franchise record, this one for points in a half with 72.
Jones continued his hot hand from the free throw line, going 4-for-4 and extending his streak of 23 consecutive free throws made.
Las Vegas finished its five-game homestand winning four of five and has now won seven of its last eight.
The Rhythm (7-18), which lost its eighth straight game, was led by Antwain Smith's 25 points.
The Bandits hit the road for a five-game road trip beginning Friday at New Mexico, and return home Feb. 22, for a game against the St. Louis Swarm.
