Irene Maude Aide

Irene Maude Aide, 93, of North Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 2, 1907, in Arkansas. A resident for two years, she was a senior accountant for the state of California.

She is survived by one niece, Michelle Tino of Las Vegas.

No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in California. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Pauline S. Basug

Pauline S. Basug, 77, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 31, 1923, in Hawaii. A resident for 12 years, she was an inspector for the Dole cannery.

She is survived by two daughters, Patricia Machado of Honolulu and Pauline Case of Las Vegas; one brother, Mike Santiago of Honolulu; one sister, Charlotte Travaso of Kauai; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 11 a.m. services Saturday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Burial will be private.

Anna Marie Christman

Anna Marie Christman, 81, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 17, 1919, in Winooski, Vt. A resident for six years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Linda Lehto; one son, Steven Christman; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Marie Eggleston

Marie Eggleston, 89, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 18, 1911, in Massachusetts. A resident for 28 years, she was a retired hotel housekeeper.

Visitation is scheduled 5 p.m. Friday in Bunkers Mortuary Meadows Room, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday in Eden Vale Memorial Park.

Lillian 'Peggy' Falcone

Lillian "Peggy" Falcone, 72, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born April 26, 1928, in Middletown, N.Y. A resident for 46 years, she was a homemaker, a dog trainer for 30 years, a member of Vegas Valley Dog Obedience Club and Silver State Kennel Club.

She is survived by two sons, Eugene E. Falcone and Michael V. Falcone, both of Las Vegas; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A memorial service will be 6 p.m. Monday in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd.

Sabri Tony Hasanov

Sabri Tony Hasanov, 75, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 16, 1926, in Bulgaria. A resident for four years, he was a butcher.

He is survived by two sons, and one daughter, all of Bulgaria.

Catherine R. Heyd

Catherine R. Heyd, 88, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. She was born July 16, 1912, in Pottsville, Pa. A resident for three years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, Robert Heyd of Henderson; two sisters, Dorothy Freeze and Jean Fitzpatrick, both of Port Richey, Fla.; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

James H. Keesey

James H. Keesey, 91, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born April 3, 1909, in Westwood, N.J. A resident for 30 years, he was an owner/operator of an office equipment and repair business.

Darrel Ray Ladd

Darrel Ray Ladd, 55, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born July 17, 1945, in Lima, Ohio. A resident for two years, he was a truck driver and a Navy veteran.

He is survived by one son, Darrel Paul Ladd of Houston; one daughter, Tammy Machado's of Yuba City, Calif.; his mother, Annetta Ladd, one brother, Ronald Eugene Ladd, and one sister, Judith O'Day, all of Lima; and seven grandchildren.

Donald H. Lambert

Donald H. Lambert, 72, of North Las Vegas died Friday in a local care center. He was born Dec. 9, 1928, in Bandy, Va. A resident for six years, he was a retired bus driver and a Korean War Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Pauline; two daughters, Donna Toney and Liz Rogers, both of Virginia; two sons, Louis Diaz of Henderson and Gilbert Diaz of Oceania, Calif.; three sisters, Joann Kinder of Virginia, Bonnie Polacek of Ohio and Cookie Altizer of Tennessee; and seven grandchildren.

Graveside services will be noon Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Gloria A. Maloney, 77, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 28, 1923, in New York. A resident for 20 years, she was a Caesars Palace cashier.

Louise Moorehead

Louise Moorehead, 80, of Payson, Ariz., died Tuesday in a Payson hospital. She was born Sept. 12, 1920, in Glendive, Mont. A former Las Vegas resident, she was a retired city of Las Vegas secretary for the director of public works, a member of the Senior Bowling League, served as secretary treasurer of the Girl Scouts and had been very active with the Boy Scouts.

She is survived by one daughter, Margie Lowe of Payson; one son, David Oman of Bellechse, La.; one brother, Frederick Koehler of Reno; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. services Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Graveside services will follow in Palm Memorial Park.

Arleen Morgenstern aka Rosenthal

Arleen Morgenstern aka Rosenthal, 76, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Nov. 2, 1924, in New York. A resident for eight years, she was an actress/singer and a member of On Broadway in New York.

She is survived by her husband, Irving Rosenthal.

Edith Nalaielua

Edith Nalaielua, 79, of Henderson died Tuesday in Las Vegas. A resident for six years, she was born March 19, 1921, in Maui, Hawaii.

She is survived by her husband, Robert.

Visitation is scheduled 4-8 p.m. Monday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in Davis Paradise Valley Home. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens.

John E. Overlock

John E. Overlock, 71, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born July 25, 1929, in Worcester, Mass. A resident for 11 years, he was an owner and CEO of a trade fair organizer for U.S. firms in Europe, a founding member of the Church of the Nativity in Northboro, Mass., and past master Isaiah of Thomas Lodge in Massachusetts.

He is survived by his wife, Lucille Adams Overlock; one son, Craig Adams Overlock of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; two daughters, Kerry A. Bennett of Canoga Park, Calif., Martha L. White of Rockville, Md.; and five grandchildren.

Ronald Philmon

Ronald Philmon, 47, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born June 10, 1953, in Delaware. A resident for several years, he was an automobile sales manager.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda; one son, Ronald Philmon; two daughters, Kimbrala Philmon and Jeaneau Philmon; and his mother and stepfather, Doretha and Joe Jenkins of Philadelphia.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Harrison-Ross Mortuaries, 2071 Las Vegas Blvd. North, North Las Vegas. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Mountaintop Faith Ministries, 2850 S. Lindell Road. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Gaston Resch

Gaston Resch, 68, of Las Vegas died Jan. 25 in Las Vegas. He was born June 28, 1932, in Hesperange, Luxembourg. A resident for many years, he was in the military.

He is survived by his wife, Katharina; and two sons, Christian Resch and Marc Resch, both of Luxembourg.

Howard Lee Rice

Howard Lee Rice, 63, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born July 13, 1937, in West Virginia. A resident for 34 years, he was an Air Force technical sergeant.

He is survived by his wife, Williearee Patricia Rice; one son, Donald A. Chaney; four daughters, Helen L. Lanham, Paulette P. Freeman, Carrol E. Seymour and Deborah L. Newsted; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

John E. Schramel, 76, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 30, 1924, in Milwaukee. A resident for seven years, he was a physician.

He is survived by two daughters, Diane Schramel Kukuda and Sandra Schramel Jolley; one sister, Mary Clemens; and four grandchildren.

Arthur Smith, 99, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 24, 1901, in Florida. A resident for one year, he was a retail sales clerk and an Army veteran.

He is survived by one daughter, Frazine Jasper; one sister, Sara Anderson of Florida; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Joseph Clay Sonora

Joseph Clay Sonora, 72, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born May 4, 1928, in Highland Park, Mich. A resident for 20 years, he was a retired senior engineer for a manufacturing firm and an Army veteran.

He is survived by one stepson, Gordon Martin of Las Vegas; two sisters, Victoria Fields of Florida and Dorothy Riley of Michigan; and one brother, Henry Sonora of Ohio.

Anna Sowle, 79, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born July 21, 1921, in Searcy, Ark. A resident for 17 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, William L.; one son, Henry L. Sowle; two daughters, Cynthia Campbell; and two grandchildren.

Roverta Jean Stillings, 75, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. A homemaker, she was born Sept. 8, 1925, in Denver.

She is survived by her husband, George L. Sr.; one son, George L. Stillings Jr. of Henderson; two daughters, Nancy Stillings-Borroum of Sacramento and Robin Stillings-Raiford of Las Vegas; and seven grandchildren.

Henrietta K. Wilson, 69, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born May 25, 1931, in Honolulu. A resident for 20 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, John O. Wilson III of Asheville, N.C.; two daughters, Leilani McGrath and Diana Whitney, both of Las Vegas; three brothers, George Giffard, James Giffard and Matthew Giffard, and three sisters, Winifred Carreira, Elizabeth Benedict and Frances Giffard, all of Honolulu; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Joyce Zaccardi

Joyce Zaccardi, 70, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born Sept. 6, 1930, in Paris, Texas. A resident for eight years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by three sons, Larry Hoagland, Gary Hoagland and Allen Hoagland; two daughters, Tari Anding and Gina Johnson; one brother, Jerry McGee; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
