Las Vegas weatherman ordered off the air

Las Vegas television station KVBC Channel 3 won a court order Wednesday to stop its former weatherman, Nathan Tannenbaum, from appearing on rival KTNV-TV Channel 13 or in any other media for no longer than one year.
Channel 3 sued Channel 13 and Tannenbaum, alleging he violated a non-compete contract when he joined Channel 13.
Clark County District Court Judge Kathy Hardcastle ruled Channel 13 violated a non-compete contract because Tannenbaum's name, photograph, and the term "NateCast," which was developed and used by Channel 3 for years, constituted "performances on air."
