The Nevada State Contractors Board revoked the license of one Las Vegas subcontractor and took disciplinary action against two other Las Vegas companies, accusing them of violating state building laws.
RBM Concrete Construction Inc. had its license revoked by the board because it allegedly failed to pay for materials and services, failed to cooperate in the investigation of a complaint and failed to establish financial responsibility. The company was also accused of failing to include a license number and monetary limit on a contractor proposal and failing to report a change of address or personnel.
Empire Roofing and Complete Construction and Remodelling, which were accused of failing to cooperate in investigations of complaints, both received letters of reprimand.
Empire Roofing, which received a one-year letter of reprimand, was accused of failing to pay for materials and services and failing to establish financial responsibility.
Complete Construction, which was accused of willfully disregarding state building laws, received a two-year letter of reprimand and was ordered to pay full restitution and costs of investigation.
The companies could not be reached for comment.
