StumbleGarciaparra to help at next week’s camp

Three-time major-league All-Star and 1997 Rookie of the Year Nomar Garciaparra of the Boston Red Sox will take part in the UNLV Holiday Baseball Camp scheduled for Dec. 27-30 at Earl E. Wilson Stadium.
Former UNLV assistant coach and current New York Yankee hitting instructor Rick Down and Minnesota Twins pitcher Jack Cressend will also be at the camp.
The camp is open to players ages 7 to senior in high school and will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. For more information, call 451-8871.
