What's your pleasure on New Year's Eve? Dinner and dancing? A quiet dinner for two? A late-night splurge? Whatever you desire, you can find it in Las Vegas on New Year's Eve, including brilliant firework displays.

Wherever possible, make a reservation. Many hotels and restaurants offer more than one seating, with the late seating costing slightly more. These late seatings usually include more party stuff, and sometimes include dancing and a champagne toast at midnight. Of course, the buffets will be putting forth their best displays, an option that doesn't require reservations. So, don your prettiest duds and prepare for a bit of auld lang syne, Las Vegas style.

All of the New Year's Eve dinners and events require reservations. The earlier you call, the better. Hotel cafes and buffets, with rare exceptions, do not offer reservations. Have a glorious and safe New Year's celebration.
