James E. Allison
James E. Allison, 77, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. A superintendent for a petroleum company, he was born Feb. 2, 1924, in Sacramento.
He is survived by one son, James V. Allison of Las Vegas; two daughters, Sherry Smith and Bobbie Parker, both of Bakersfield, Calif.; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Burial will be private. Services will be in Bakersfield. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Irane Leeshawn Alston
Irane Leeshawn Alston, 1 1/2, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. She was born April 20, 2000, in Las Vegas.
She is survived by her parents, Margaret and Ira Alston Jr. of North Las Vegas; three brothers, Demarcus West of Mobile, Ala., and Aaron Avery and Fred West, both of Las Vegas; and her grandparents, Ira Alston Sr. and Gloria Alston-Smith, both of Las Vegas and Elder Jimmie and Regina West of Mobile.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to an 11 a.m. service today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.
Elvira Aumada
Elvira Aumada, 74, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Jan. 22, 1927, in Tulsa, Okla. A resident for six years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by five sons, Charles Snow Jr. of Bartlesville, Okla., Joseph Snow of Las Vegas, Larry Snow and Jimmy Snow, both of Houston, and Tony Marino of Tulsa, Okla.; one daughter, Joyce Allen of Las Vegas; two sisters, Pauline Marino and Hope Leos, both of Tulsa; seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Friday in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
Peggy Ellen Bane
Peggy Ellen Bane, 58, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 15, 1943, in Hayward, Calif. A resident for 15 years, she was a homemaker and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by her husband, Nick; three daughters, Teri Hanmore, Cindi Gilmour and Lori Gilmour, all of Henderson; one brother, Daniel Rose of Walnut Creek, Calif.; and six grandchildren.
Neptune Society of Nevada, 3110 E. Sunset Road, is handling private arrangements.
Grace Becker
Grace Becker, 84, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. A co-owner of a radio and TV business, she was born Feb. 17, 1917, in Bethlehem, Pa.
She is survived by one daughter, Sandra Lipsky.

Glenn Thomas Brown
Glenn Thomas Brown, 72, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local care center. He was born Nov. 5, 1929, in Guthrie, Okla. A resident for 40 years, he was a retired Las Vegas firefighter, a real estate broker, a Korean War Army veteran, a former member of the Elks, a member of the Sooner Club and Las Vegas Board of Realtors and was a local youth sports sponsor.
He is survived by his wife, Jeanette; one son, Brian Brown, and two daughters, Jana Virtuoso and Jeanene Abbott, all of Las Vegas; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Friday in Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd. Burial will be private.
Rita C. Cavnar
Rita C. Cavnar, 74, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born July 19, 1927, in Bruning, Neb. A resident for 22 years, she was an executive secretary at Copper Mountain Ski Resort.
She is survived by one daughter, Dareyl Ann "Jill" Davidson of Danville, Calif.; and two grandchildren.
Burial will be in Denver. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Marion A. 'Bud' Crouse Jr.
Marion A. "Bud" Crouse Jr., 55, of North Las Vegas died Saturday in North Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 6, 1946, in Forest City, Ark. A resident for 11 years, he was a retired Navy petty officer first class and Vietnam War veteran.
He is survived by two daughters, Stephanie R. Culbreath of Alexander, Ark., and Ivy M. Crouse of Las Vegas; one son, Allen J. Elledge of North Las Vegas; one sister, Carolyn Lloyd of Oklahoma City; two brothers, Mike Crouse of Pine Bluff, Ark., and Ricki Crouse of Forest City; and eight grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2-4 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Graveside services will be 9:20 a.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Rose Ann Easton, 84, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local health care center. She was born Nov. 1, 1917, in Boston. A resident for three years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one son, Robert A. MacDonald of Las Vegas; one stepdaughter, Mary Lou Davis of East Lumberton, N.C.; one sister, Caroline Thomas of Moscow, Idaho; three grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Additional visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 1 p.m. service Saturday in Palm Chapel, Cheyenne. Burial will be in California.

Walter Fetty, 64, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 25, 1937, in New York. A resident for many years, he was a laborer in the construction industry.

William A. Harp
William A. Harp, 71, of Henderson died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 13, 1930, in Golden Valley, N.D. A resident for nine years, he was a retired mining engineer and a Korean War Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Gayle S.; one daughter, Brenda Yeates of Perris, Calif.; one son, William B. Harp of Henderson; two sisters, Betty Ann Gray and Patsy Carlson, both of Kent, Wash.; four brothers, Joshua Harp of Kent, Robert Harp of Colorado Springs, Colo., Patrick Harp of Heber City, Utah, and Wayne Harp of Pendleton, Ore.; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Eloise Harris, 64, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Nov. 16, 1937, in Wabash, Ark. A resident for 14 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, George; one daughter, La Francine Brown-Escobedo of Pahrump; one son, Steven Harris of Las Vegas; four brothers, Gene Audrey-Jordan, Robert Jordan and John Henry Jordan, all of Chicago, and Edward Jordan of Riverside, Calif.; two sisters, Genieva Givens of Buffalo, N.Y., and Pauline Jordan-Smedley of Las Vegas; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Fred S. Holley, 73, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born March 26, 1928, in St. Louis. A resident for 11 years, he was a retired merchant seaman and longshoreman.
He is survived by his wife, Tina; three daughters, Rachael and Latasha, both of California, and Kiwanna of Germany; two sons, Christopher of California and Jonathan of Nevada; four sisters, Wylene of Washington state and Theda, Noni and Flora, all of California; and two grandchildren.

Kathryn Lee Holliday
Kathryn Lee Holliday, 52, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born May 28, 1949, in Los Angeles. A resident for six years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Anthony C.; two daughters, Stephanie Sterling-Lass of Las Vegas and Lori Luallen of Laughlin; and three grandchildren.

Belva Lang, 89, of Henderson died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Nov. 25, 1912, in Dasey, N.D. A resident for 47 years, she was a retired county election clerk.
She is survived by one daughter, Rita E. Dorn of Las Vegas; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Frank P. Lynds
Frank P. Lynds, 67, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 16, 1934, in Boston. A resident for 13 years, he was a general manager of a warehouse, a retired Air Force chief master sergeant, a Vietnam War and Korean War Air Force veteran, a master Mason, a member of the Shriners, York and Scottish Rite Bodies, White Shrine, Eastern Star and the Amarath.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie L.; one daughter, Bonnie Hamlett of San Ramon, Calif.; two sons, Troy Lynds and Wilson Lynds, both of Las Vegas; two brothers, William Lynds and Richard Lynds, and two sisters, Mary Reidy and Ella Shallow, all of Boston; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 5 p.m. memorial service Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.
Thomas R. Matthews
Thomas R. Matthews, 63, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 2, 1938, in Bradford, Pa. A resident for seven years, he was a retired CIA agent and a Marine Corps veteran.

He is survived by one sister, Rose Viduski of Las Vegas.

Meredith "Murray" Neall, 83, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. A journeyman machinist for Caterpillar Tractor Co. and a World War II veteran of the Army Engineer Corps, he was born Jan. 2, 1918, in California.
He is survived by one daughter, Margaret Grant of Las Vegas; one son, Timothy Neall of Pryor, Okla.; two sisters, Marion Evans of San Leandro, Calif., and Connie Bristo of Missoula, Mont.; five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Edward J. Norris
Edward J. Norris, 80, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born July 22, 1921, in Austin, Minn. A resident for 21 years, he was a retired railroad lineman.
He is survived by two daughters, Shirley Campbell and Linda Norris, and one son, Robert Norris, all of Las Vegas; two sisters, Rita William of Goshen, Ind., and Patricia Norris of Chicago; one brother, Richard Norris of Chicago; his companion, Lorraine Norris of Las Vegas; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Rudolph John Paluck, 76, of Henderson died Tuesday in Henderson. He was born Feb. 26, 1925, in Billingham, N.D. A resident for five years, he was a crane operator for a construction company and a World War II Navy Seabee.

Richard Lee Schuder, 56, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 14, 1945, in Temple City, Calif. A resident for 35 years, he was a federal government inventory control manager and a Navy veteran.
He is survived by one son, Richard A. Schuder of Las Vegas; one brother, Gene Schuder of Utah; one sister, Shirley Karabin of Virginia; and one grandchild.

Josephine Schwikert, 80, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born Nov. 30, 1921, in Washington, D.C. A resident for 39 years, she was a retired registered nurse and a World War II Army veteran.
She is survived by her husband, John Sr.; two daughters, Jill Schwikert and Joy Schwikert, and one son, John Schwikert II, all of Las Vegas; and six grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Janice L.; his mother, Pauline Weaver of Lima, Ohio; and six grandchildren.

Carolyn A. Zimmer, 76, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born April 24, 1925, in Springfield, Mo. A resident for 30 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter, Linda Meyers of LaCanada, Calif.; one son, Bill Zimmer of Las Vegas; and four grandchildren.
