* Riverboat casinos operate on the Mississippi River at Marquette, Dubuque, Clinton, Davenport, Bettendorf, Burlington and Fort Madison, on a lake near Osceola and on the Missouri River at Sioux City and Council Bluffs. American Indian tribes also run casinos in Tama, Sloan and Onawa.
* Race tracks in Altoona, Council Bluffs and Dubuque also offer slot machines.
