Hollywood Media Corp. and the Internet site Vegas.com today announced a venture that will give customers access to Las Vegas show tickets. Terms were not disclosed.
Mitchell Rubinstein, chairman and chief executive of Hollywood Media, Boca Raton, Fla., said his company -- which provides news, information and ticketing services -- will be able to sell Las Vegas show tickets through Vegas.com under the venture.
The company already sells tickets online and over the phone for movies, live theater and concerts and operates the Hollywood.com and Broadway.com Internet sites. It has a 30 percent interest in MovieTickets.com.
The Greenspun family owns the Las Vegas Sun and Vegas.com.
