StumbleUNLV’s Diaconcscu wins conference honor

Lorena Diaconcscu, who last week captured two individual titles and anchored the UNLV women's swimming team to two relay titles in the Mountain West Conference Invitational, was named the MWC swimmer of the week. The Romanian native set a school and conference record in the 200-yard individual medley (2:02.77) and then turned in an NCAA qualifying time of 1:46.88 in the 200 freestyle.
