Frohlich seeks scoring record Sunday at Reno

Senior forward Linda Frohlich needs just three points to become UNLV's career scoring leader when the Lady Rebels (5-1) travel to in-state rival Nevada-Reno (3-3) on Sunday afternoon.
Frohlich has 1,890 career points. Former All-American Misty Thomas holds the record with 1,892 points.
"Three points ... I hope that I don't have that bad a game that I don't break it (on Sunday)," Frohlich said.
UNLV is the third straight Mountain West Conference team that Nevada-Reno has played in a week. The Wolf Pack, which is led by 6-foot-2 All-American forward Kate Smith (14.2 ppg, 6.3 rpg), lost at Wyoming in overtime, 82-78, last Saturday and was hammered by unbeaten Colorado State, 84-57, two nights later at Moby Arena.
