Holiday event
"Gift of Lights," a drive-through holiday lights event sponsored by Goodwill of Southern Nevada, is on display from 5-10 p.m. nightly, through Dec. 26 at Sunset Park. Admission is $10 per vehicle. Call 597-1107.
Holiday happenings
Henderson is hosting several holiday events beginning Saturday. Admission -- $3 for adults; $2 for children and seniors -- allows admittance to all events.
A holiday parade on Water Street in Henderson begins at noon Saturday.
From 2-9 p.m. Saturday and 6-9 p.m. Monday and Wednesday, the Clark County Museum on Boulder Highway will offer horse-drawn wagonette rides, a train-lighting ceremony and other holiday events.
From 1-5 p.m. Sunday, holiday-decoration making and themed entertainment will be presented at the Lorna J. Kesterson Valley View Recreation Center, 500 Harris St. From 7-9 p.m. on Dec. 14, the center will host a holiday songfest.
A holiday hoedown will be from 7-10 p.m. Dec. 15 at the Henderson Convention Center, 200 Water St.
