Raymond M. Allen Jr.

Raymond M. Allen Jr., 71, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 15, 1930, in Detroit. A resident for 35 years, he was a pit boss, a Marine Corps veteran and a member of the Non-Commissioned Officers Association.

He is survived by his wife, Evelyn; two sons, Michael Ray Allen and Clark Allen; one daughter, Shannon Allen; and one sister, Brook Shriner.

Visitation is scheduled 1-2 p.m. Tuesday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

Georgia G. Ayer

Georgia G. Ayer, 91, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local care center. She was born May 5, 1910, in Tombstone, Ariz. A resident for 40 years, she was a retired executive secretary and private secretary for Sam Boyd for many years.

She is survived by two brothers, Harvey E. Wright Jr. of Las Vegas and Billie F. Wright of Bullhead City, Ariz.

Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. services Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Burial will be in Santa Monica, Calif.

Robert Belinsky

Robert Belinsky, 64, of Las Vegas died Nov. 23 in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 7, 1936, in New York City. A resident for 11 years, he was a field director of sales for Findley Toyota, a former pitcher in major league baseball, a former member of the Elks and a lifetime member of Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association.

He is survived by one daughter, Stephanie Mandell of Illinois; one son, Don Carroll of California; and one sister, Lorraine Belinsky Riley of New Jersey.

Thomas Berstler

Thomas Berstler, 56, of Henderson died Saturday in a local hospice. He was born May 6, 1945, in Fairfax County, Va. A resident for 45 years, he was a real estate agent for Avanta Homes in Las Vegas and was a member of International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees Union Local 720.

He is survived by his wife, Jolanta; two sons, Jeff T. Berstler of Henderson and Scott D. Berstler of Las Vegas; his father, Robert Berstler of Las Vegas; his mother, Leokadia Iglikowska of Henderson; two brothers, Robert Berstler of Oregon and Dr. Witold Iglikowski of Henderson; one sister, Krystyna Timler of Poland; two stepsisters, Janis Smith of Mississippi and Christy Bandics of Las Vegas; and six grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Palm Chapel, Eastern.

David Lee Callahan

David Lee Callahan, 68, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born July 10, 1933, in Indianapolis. A resident for 39 years, he was in the real estate business.

He is survived by his wife, Helga; one daughter, Monika Callahan of Las Vegas; four sons, Eric Callahan of Las Vegas, Danny Callahan and Edward Callahan, both of Indianapolis, and David Callahan of Tennessee; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Leonard Colucci

Leonard Colucci, 75, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born July 9, 1926, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for seven years, he was an electrical laborer for AtLite Electrical in Brooklyn and a member of the Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 3.

He is survived by his wife, Rosalie; one son, Michael Colucci of Las Vegas; three sisters, Diana Zotto of New York, Theresa Imperato and Jenny Cioffi, both of Brooklyn; and one grandchild.

Services and burial will be in New York. Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Bella Colombo

Bella Colombo, 79, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 24, 1922, in Stockton, Calif. A resident for 17 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Guido; two daughters, Joanie Vieron of San Diego and Patty Fraijo of Alta Loma, Calif.; one son, John Colombo, and one sister, Elsie Roche, both of Las Vegas; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Patience (McNamee) Dion

Patience (McNamee) Dion, 77, of Bend, Ore., died Nov. 27 in Bend. She was born July 10, 1924, in Las Vegas. A former Las Vegas resident, she was a legal secretary for Sen. Pat McCarran and for the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee and was selected to represent the state of Nevada in the Cherry Blossom Festival.

She is survived by one son, Ned Dion of Carey, N.C.; four daughters, Melina Hasbrouck of Livermore, Calif., Susan Roden of Oakland, Ore., Maureen Schlerf of Bend and Sally Stapleton of Atlanta; one brother, Joe McNamee of Cambria, Calif.; and eight grandchildren.

Roger K. Ford

Roger K. Ford, 48, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born May 24, 1953, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, he was a forklift operator for a titanium metals company and a Vietnam War Marine Corps veteran.

He is survived by one daughter, Jami Ford of Las Vegas; one sister, Lou Anna Lear of Atlanta; two brothers, Dell Ford of Las Vegas and Bryant Ford of Nashville, Tenn.; one stepsister, Danielle Begay of Las Vegas; and one grandchild.

Graveside services will be 10:40 a.m. Thursday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Victor Laray Givens

Victor Laray Givens, 43, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born May 30, 1958, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, he was a kitchen worker at the Venetian.

He is survived by his father, Melvin Givens of Salt Lake City; his mother, Alma Givens, and two sisters, Roslyn Givens and Yvonne Givens, both of Las Vegas; four brothers, Alfred Givens, Melvin Givens Jr. and Clyde Givens, all of Las Vegas, and Don Givens of Phoenix; two stepbrothers, Charles Givens and Steve Givens, both of Salt Lake City; and two stepsisters, Jackie Givens of Salt Lake City and Dionne Watson of Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. Thursday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be noon Friday in Greater St. Paul Church of God in Christ, 911 N. G St. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Francis Hanahoe

Francis Hanahoe, 85, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 9, 1916, in Pittston, Pa. A resident for one year, he was a retired truck driver and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by four sons, John Cooper of Las Vegas, Ricky Cooper of Massena, N.Y., Joe Newlin of Middletown, N.Y., and Kevin Newlin of Las Vegas; one daughter, Penny Anderson of Poughkeepsie, N.Y.; one sister, Helen Hadley of State College, Pa.; 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were scheduled at 1:20 p.m. today in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., handled arrangements.

Dolores 'Dolly' Hiltbrand

Dolores "Dolly" Hiltbrand, 78, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 25, 1923, in Butte, Mont. A resident for 45 years, she was a retired clerk for the Union Pacific Railroad, a member of the American Cancer Society, Las Vegas Nu-Voice Club, North Las Vegas Emblem Club, Union Pacific Railroad Challenger Club, NARBW, Union Pacific Railroad Old Timers Club, Golden Tappers, Society of Widowed Persons, Seniors United and the Lunch Bunch.

She is survived by three daughters, Arlene Gonzalez and Linda Hiltbrand, both of Las Vegas, and Dolores Hiltbrand of Salt Lake City; two sons, Ron Hiltbrand and Rod Ralston, both of Las Vegas; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 3-9 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Palm Chapel, Main. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.

Ruth E. Huntington

Ruth E. Huntington, 82, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born May 19, 1919, in Esterville, Iowa. A resident for five years, she was a retired sales clerk and past matron of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by two daughters, Judith Hooge of Las Vegas and Berta Gravitt of Chickamuaga, Ga.; one son, Robert C. Huntington of Corning, Calif.; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Theodore Koffler

Theodore Koffler, 68, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 9, 1933, in Dickinson, N.D. A resident for 3 1/2 years, he was a retired retail salesman and a Navy veteran.

He is survived by two daughters, Teddi Koffler of Las Vegas and Nancy Koffler of Aloha, Ore.; three brothers, Jacob Koffler, Roger Koffler and Keith Koffler; and two sisters, Marion Knobel and Joanne Koffler; and three grandchildren.

Benjamin M. Liberman

Benjamin M. Liberman, 82, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born April 23, 1919, in Michigan. A resident for 16 years, he was a restaurant and bar owner, an Army captain and World War II veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Ellen; one son, Jack Liberman of Seattle; four daughters, Diane Rabin of Redmond, Wash., Judy Hass and Kelly Sweeney, both of Las Vegas, and Susie Nix of Seattle; four brothers, Morrey Liberman, Herman Liberman and Harold Liberman, all of Milwaukee, and Pete Liberman of San Francisco; one sister, Evelyn Cohen of Milwaukee; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 9-11:15 a.m. Thursday in Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson. Services will follow at noon Thursday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Vasilia Likourinou

Vasilia Likourinou, 80, of Henderson died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born March 27, 1921, in Samos, Greece. A resident for 25 years, she was a retired housekeeper.

She is survived by two daughters, Mary Hamilton and Angie Likourinou, and one son, Steve Likourinou, all of Henderson; one brother, John Christodoulou of Athens, Greece; and three grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 5 p.m. until 6 p.m. services today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Additional services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church, 5300 S. El Camino Road. Burial will be in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Lionel Madrigal

Lionel Madrigal, 79, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born March 31, 1922, in Texas. A resident for 30 years, he was a bar owner and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by one sister, Victoria M. DePlata of San Bernardino, Calif.; and one brother, David Madrigal of McAllen, Texas.

James Michael Marshall

James Michael Marshall, 66, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospice. He was born July 15, 1935, in Fordyce, Ark. A resident for 60 years, he was a hotel cook.

He is survived by his wife, Genie; one daughter, Linda Faye Marshall of Pahrump; one son, Ronald Marshall, one stepdaughter, Yvette Peters, three stepsons, Wilson Peters, Willard Peters and Savor Tanner, and one brother, Charles Avery Marshall, all of Las Vegas.

Jean Mitchell aka Jean Hewankorn, 57, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born April 18, 1944, in New Jersey. A resident for six years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, Gregg Nelson of Las Vegas; two daughters, Lori Lubert and Diane Nelson, and her mother, Doris Mitchell, all of New Jersey; and two grandchildren.

Doris Oertle, 82, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 10, 1919, in Illinois. A resident for many years, she was a retired hairdresser.

She is survived by one niece, Elaine Schilling of Las Vegas.

Bertha M. Ramirez

Bertha M. Ramirez, 82, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 16, 1919, in Mexico. A resident for 45 years, she was a retired manager of a dry cleaning establishment.

Richard G. Ricketts

Richard G. Ricketts, 68, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local care center. He was born Aug. 4, 1933, in Fremont, Neb. A resident for nine years, he was a school district maintenance supervisor and a Korean War Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Lupe; one son, Michael R. Ricketts of Tennessee; one brother, Glenn W. Ricketts of Buena Park, Calif.; and one sister, Yvonne Dodd of Desert Hot Springs, Calif.

Lenard Rogers, 69, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born June 9, 1932, in Hampton, Ark. A resident for four years, he was a retired funeral director.

He is survived by one brother, I.V. Rogers, and four sisters, Henrietta Pace, Earnestine McCullah, Daisy Dupree and Maxine Weathers, all of Las Vegas.

Wilmer Harold Roland

Wilmer Harold Roland, 88, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospice. He was born Aug. 19, 1913, in Memphis, Mo. A resident for 21 years, he was a retired quality controller in the aerospace industry.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Jean; one son, Harold Roland of California; one daughter, Barbara Webb of New Mexico; one sister, Zola Skyls of Arizona; two granddaughters and one great-granddaughter.

Fairy E. Ryerson

Fairy E. Ryerson, 87, of Las Vegas died Nov. 19 in Las Vegas. She was born June 17, 1914, in Missouri. A resident for 50 years, she was a real estate broker, a homemaker, dancer, motion picture actress and involved in politics.

Leona K. Saks

Leona K. Saks, 84, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Jan. 17, 1917, in Detroit. A resident for 19 years, she was a homemaker and a member of Hadassah.

She is survived by one daughter, Susan Goldman of Henderson; two sons, Edward Goldman of Henderson and Gerald Saks of Las Vegas; one sister, Julia Kirsch of West Palm Beach, Fla.; and one grandchild.

Services were scheduled at 3 p.m. today in King David Memorial Chapel and Cemetery, 2697 Eldorado Lane. Burial will be private.

Raymond Shannon

Raymond Shannon, 66, of Las Vegas, died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born April 5, 1935, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 12 years, he was a retired assistant maintenance manager for the Long Island Railroad and a Korean War Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Kathryn; two sons, Raymond Shannon of Charlotte, N.C., and Andrew Hoffman of Port Jefferson Station, N.Y.; two daughters, Kathy Westervelt of Pelion, S.C., and Elyse Hoffman of Bradford, Vt.; one sister, Barbara Witt of Fullerton, Calif.; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Wednesday in Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St.
