Letter: Clinton coverage is appreciated
Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2001 | 8:42 a.m.
Thank you for running your interview with Bill Clinton on the front page of Friday's paper. Other newspapers led with an interview with George W. Bush explaining the benefits of our disappearing surplus and stagnant economy.
It was good to read of the man from Hope: Our last "elected" president who brought us out of the Bush I recession to a balanced budget, strong surplus, shrinking debt, full employment and a booming stock market.
