Louis A. Anton, 87, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 18, 1914, in Aromas, Calif. A resident for 56 years, he retired as superintendent of the Las Vegas Public Works Department after 40 years, was a World War II Army Air Corps veteran, a member of Optimist International, Southern Nevada Officials Association, Order of Sparta, San Jose State Athletic Department and Nevada Interscholastic Activities Association.
