FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. -- Arkansas coach Houston Nutt said he would close today's practice to outsiders so his team can focus on a run through of its game plan for the Razorbacks' season opener on Aug. 30 against UNLV.
"I think this is the first time we've closed it, but we wanted to have a rehearsal," Nutt said Wednesday. "I wanted a perfect sideline so we know what is there next week down in Little Rock. I also wanted to keep distractions to a minimum and try to get into game like rhythm."
The team plays UNLV at Little Rock's War Memorial Stadium, though the rehearsal will be at Razorback Stadium on the Fayetteville campus.
Workouts will be held on the practice field as normal starting on Friday and running throughout the weekend.
