Updated Aug. 23, 2001
Largemouth bass fishing continues to be good lake-wide, with hot spots at Fish Island in the Overton Arm and around Black Island in the Boulder Basin. Black rubber arms fished top-water are producing the majority of the catch.
Daytime temperatures are in the 90s with nighttime lows dipping into the 50s. Water temperature is 74 degrees.
Rainbow trout fishing remains slow but should improve as the water temperature cools.
