Desert garden planned at park

The city of Henderson has been awarded $150,000 in federal funding through the Land and Water Conservation Fund to build a desert demonstration garden at the soon-to-be-developed Acacia Park.
Acacia Park, located at 50 Casa Del Fuego, will include soccer fields, a softball field, playground, water play feature, dog park and restrooms.
