Charles 'Fred' Anderson Sr.
Charles "Fred" Anderson Sr., 64, of Indian Springs died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 15, 1936, in Niagara Falls, N.Y. A resident for 20 years, he was a retired carpenter and a member of Carpenters Local 1977 in Nevada and Local 280 in New York.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara B.; two daughters, Judith Platek of Niagara Falls and Carol Cimini of Las Vegas; one son, Fred Anderson Jr. of Oklahoma City; one brother, Donald Anderson of Las Vegas; and one grandchild.
All services will be in Niagara Falls. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.
Matthew A. Bilotti
Matthew A. Bilotti, 79, of Henderson died Monday in Henderson. He was born Sept. 20, 1921, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 14 years, he was a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Mary R.; one daughter, Patricia A. Bilotti of Henderson; one son, Matthew R. Bilotti of Brooklyn, N.Y.; four brothers, Sal Bilotti of Texas, Edmond Bilotti and Rudy Bilotti, both of New York, and Joseph Bilotti of California; one sister, Lorraine Bilotti of New York; and two grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Thursday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 9 a.m. Friday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
Joseph Edward Blume
Joseph Edward Blume, 76, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born July 7, 1925, in Baltimore. A resident for 32 years, he was a retired World War II and Korean War Air Force instrument technician and a member of the Las Vegas Hawaiian Civic Club.
He is survived by his wife, Maria R.; and one sister, Joyce Blume of Las Vegas.
Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Brett Russell Bullock
Brett Russell Bullock, 32, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. A roofer, he was born Jan. 21, 1969, in North Carolina.
No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in North Carolina. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Carmen M. Collins
Carmen M. Collins, 77, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born April 1, 1924, in Trinidad, Colo. A resident for five years, she was a retired administrator in the paper goods industry.
She is survived by her husband, Raymond; one son, Kenneth Collins of Las Vegas; two sisters, Lee Vera of Golden, Colo., and Jean Witte of Broomfield, Colo.; two brothers, Joe Maes of Louisville, Colo., and Charles Maes of Durango, Colo.; and three grandchildren.
Burial will be in Boulder, Colo. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Christian Alden Davis
Christian Alden Davis, 37, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 26, 1963, in Methuen, Mass. A resident for 13 years, he was a stagehand and a member of the Stagehands Union.
He is survived by two brothers, Justin Davis of Arizona and Dean Oshea of Massachusetts.
Burial will be private. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Alma J. Farwell
Alma J. Farwell, 69, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 26, 1931, in Christopher, Ill. A resident for 43 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Herbert; four daughters, Sunday Pulsipher of Huntington Beach, Calif., and Lois Jean Tandy, Charlene Hancock and Valerie Figueroa, all of Las Vegas; one son, Fred Farwell of Las Vegas; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Palm Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.
Danise J. Hale
Danise J. Hale, 52, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born April 13, 1949, in Sacramento. A resident for 27 years, she was a social worker, a member of the Henderson Chamber of Commerce, Better Business Bureau and Women's Political Caucus.
She is survived by three sons, Joey Hale and Joshua Hale, both of Las Vegas, and Jonathan Hale of Reno; her mother, Marild Matranga of Las Vegas; one brother, Anthony Matranga of Reno; two sisters, Sara Chafe of Reno and Anne Lopez of Las Vegas; and eight grandchildren.
Services were scheduled at 11 a.m. today in the LDS chapel at Alta Drive and Jones Boulevard. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Bernard 'Bud' Jones
Bernard "Bud" Jones, 86, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born June 24, 1916, in Kansas City, Mo. A resident for 38 years, he was the founder of the Bud Jones Co., a gaming supply manufacturer, a World War II Navy veteran, Exporter of the Year for Nevada and was inducted into the Gaming Hall of Fame.
He is survived by one daughter, Kathleen Steele of Las Vegas; four brothers, Leonard Jones of Las Vegas, Elmer Lee Jones of Mission, Kan., Joseph Edward Jones Jr. of Blue Springs, Mo., and Donald A. Jones of Long Beach, Calif.; two sisters, Anna May Seaton of Shrewsbury, Mass., and Teresa Crow of Pleasant Hill, Mo.; and two grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 8:30-9:30 a.m. Saturday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Shrine of the Most Holy Redeemer, 55 E. Reno Ave. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.
The family suggests contributions to the donor's favorite charity.

Rado Jones, 87, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. A typesetter, he was born Aug. 3, 1914, in Illinois.

John Van Koevering
John Van Koevering, 80, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local convalescent hospital. He was born June 11, 1921, in Riverside, Calif. A resident for 43 years, he was a retired technical writer for the Clark County School District and a World War II and Korean War Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Lucille; and one son, Richard Van Koevering of Mission Viejo, Calif.
Visitation is scheduled 2-3 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
James Langston
James Langston, 80, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 28, 1920, in Mississippi. A resident for 23 years, he was a retired Air Force veteran and a member of the Air Force Sergeants Association.
He is survived by his wife, Dolores; two sons, Mark and Lee; two brothers, Howard and Paul; and three grandchildren.
Graveside services were scheduled at noon today in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, handled arrangements.
Donald C. Lavizzo
Donald C. Lavizzo, 58, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 23, 1942, in Chicago. A resident for 18 months, he was an ordained deacon of the Catholic Church.
He is survived by two brothers, Joseph Lavizzo Jr. of Chicago and Richard Lavizzo of Las Vegas; and three sisters, Shirley Gardner of Chicago, Vinita Lavizzo of Las Vegas and Julie Nolan of Milton, Mass.
Visitation is scheduled noon-1 p.m. Thursday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will follow at 2 p.m. Thursday in Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.
June J. Leany
June J. Leany, 67, of Henderson died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born June 26, 1934, in Springdale, Utah. A resident for 49 years, she was a homemaker, a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers and the Relief Society Organization.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Eugene; three sons, Douglas Leany of Temecula, Calif., and Kevin Leany and Brent Leany, both of Henderson; two sisters, Arva Brown of Elsinore, Calif., and LaRee Hatch of North Las Vegas; one brother, Kenneth Johnson of North Las Vegas; and 10 grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Additional visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 10 a.m. services Friday in the LDS Palo Verde chapel. Graveside services will be noon Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Arthur McBride
Arthur McBride, 98, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. A salesman, he was born Nov. 5, 1902, in Utah.
He is survived by one son, Wayne McBride of Wyoming.

Archie McElroy
Archie McElroy, 85, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local health care center. He was born March 19, 1916, in Chico, Calif. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired crane operator for a steel company and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by two daughters, Mary of San Francisco and Vivian of Daly City, Calif.; and one son, Patrick of Redwood City, Calif.

Fred L. Morris
Fred L. Morris, 86, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospice. He was born Jan. 21, 1915, in Kankakee, Ill. A resident for 35 years, he was an automobile service manager.
He is survived by two daughters, Melanie Heisler of Sonoma, Calif., and Lisa House of North Las Vegas; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Garden Memorial Funeral Home, 3600 W. Vegas Drive., has arranged private services.
Ernest E. Runnion
Ernest E. Runnion, 85, of Overton died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 26, 1915, in Triplett, W.Va. A resident for 30 years, he was a retired electrical engineer in the timber business, inventor of the Chip'n'saw, a Navy veteran, a member of Daylite Lodge 44, Scottish Rite and Zelzah Shrine.
He is survived by his wife, Marie; two daughters, Dee Gove of Vancouver, Wash., and Jana Ward of Warrenton, Va.; one brother, Roy Wilson of Florida; one sister, Marjorie Hess of Parkersburg, W.Va.; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

Jack Thomas
Jack Thomas, 91, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born July 12, 1910, in Kenwood, La. A resident for 59 years, he was a foreman/carpenter, a member of the Masons and the Carpenters Union.
He is survived by one daughter, Marie Jordan of Las Vegas; three grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Thursday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 1 p.m. Friday in Bunkers Chapel. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
Jeffery G. Zager
Jeffery G. Zager, 49, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 11, 1951, in Milwaukee. A resident for 20 years, he was a casino surveillance officer.
He is survived his wife, Laura; his parents, Jennie and Stephen Zager, and one sister, Sharon Zager, all of Las Vegas.
Mass will be celebrated 7 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.
