UNLV’s Frohlich stars on foreign court

Linda Frohlich scored 21 points against her former German club team Thursday, guiding the touring UNLV women's basketball team to a 72-50 victory over SC Rist Wedel at Steinberg, Germany.
Frohlich, a native of Oldendorf, Germany, spent three seasons with SC Rist Wedel before enrolling at UNLV in 1997.
Junior guard Constance Jinks scored 21, while Petra Glaser (from Amstberg, Germany) added 10 points and six rebounds.
UNLV is 2-0 on its 12-day trip, having beaten Bensberg BBC 62-42 Tuesday behind Frolich's 17 points.
The Lady Rebels will take today off in Amsterdam before moving on to Brugge, Belgium, for a Saturday game against Deerlijk BBC.
