Children's classic
An exhibit, "Emperor's New Clothes by Hans Christian Anderson," an illustrated interpretation of the classic children's tale, is on display at the Clark County Library, 1401 E. Flamingo Road.
'Birds' photos
"Birds in Flight," an exhibit of stop-action photography by Russell C. Hansen, is on display through Sept. 30 at the Nevada State Museum and Historical Society, 700 Twin Lakes Drive. Call 486-5205.

"Books and Boxes," an exhibit by artist Sue Cotter featuring handmade books influenced by her travels and experiences in Nevada, is on display through Aug. 27 at the Charleston Heights Arts Center, 800 S. Brush St. Call 229-6383.
Tugnon's works
"The Aurora Collection," an exhibit of abstract metal sculptures by local artist Jean-Pierre Tugnon, is on display through Sept. 11 at McCarran International Airport's C Gate exhibition area.
Nevada artists
"Handed Down: Nevada's Living Folk Art," an exhibit of work by folk artists from around the state, is on display at the Nevada State Museum and Historical Society, 700 Twin Lakes Drive, through October. Admission is $2 for adults; children under 18 are admitted free. Call 486-5205.
