Youth corner
Youths ages 8-16 are invited to express themselves through poetry from noon-1 p.m. Saturday at the West Las Vegas Arts Center, 947 W. Lake Mead Blvd. Call 229-4800.

WB network and makers of Clean & Clear skin-care products will hold a casting call from 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Saturday at the Fashion Outlet of Las Vegas in Primm, in search of teen actors.
Singers needed
The Southern Nevada Musical Arts Society is hosting auditions for singers to participate in its 39th season. Call 451-6672.
The Las Vegas Master Singers is hosting auditions for its 2001-2002 season, which begins Nov. 18. Call 228-8316.
The Rainbow Company at Reed Whipple Cultural Center, 821 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is hosting auditions at noon Saturday for 2001-2002 Student Ensemble. Call 229-6211.
'CowParade'
Clark County is searching for artists of all levels to assist in painting cow sculptures to be included in the "CowParade" exhibit scheduled for April 1-June 15 throughout the county. Applications, available by calling 364-4962, are due by Sept. 30.
