Ida Mae Brown
Ida Mae Brown, 91, of Henderson died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born July 17, 1910, in Los Angeles. A resident for five years, she was a retired civil service purchasing contractor.
She is survived by four daughters, Charlene Shaw of Los Alamos, Calif., Donna Witteman of Henderson, Connie Maupin of Santa Maria, Calif., and Bonnie Emory of Victorville, Calif.; two sisters, Eudora Markham of Bakersfield, Calif., and Florence Burns of Laguna Hills, Calif.; 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
The family suggests donations to the American Lung Association, 3375 Glen Ave., No. 7, Las Vegas, NV 89121.
Matilda 'Tillie' Chaffin
Matilda "Tillie" Chaffin, 90, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospice. She was born Aug. 13, 1910, in Belleville, Ill. A resident for four years, she was a retired home care nurse.
She is survived by four daughters, Judith Bauerle of Charlottesville, Va., Cathy Radziemski of Tempe, Ariz., Amy Chaffin of Reno and Patricia Soydanser of Istanbul, Turkey; two sisters, Sister Rene Edelmann of St. Louis and Margaret Valerius of Belleville; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
The family suggests donations to the Nathan Adelson Hospice, 4141 S. Swenson St., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
Mildred O. Drake
Mildred O. Drake, 57, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 8, 1944, in Los Angeles. A resident for 50 years, she was a retired business agent for the Culinary Union.
She is survived by one son, Michael Shannon, one sister, Margaret Benton, and one brother, Philip Ortiz, all of Las Vegas; and one grandchild.
A memorial service will be 3:30 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. A private burial will be in Palm Memorial Park.
The family suggests donations to any local animal shelter.
Deborah Lyn Ellington
Deborah Lyn Ellington, 46, of Boulder City died Sunday in a local hospice. She was born Aug. 24, 1954, in Amarillo, Texas. A resident for eight years, she was a waitress at Happy Days Diner.
She is survived by two daughters, Erica McClure of San Bernardino, Calif., and Tiffaniee Haselton of Boulder City; and five grandchildren.
Valley Memorial Crematory, 4855 W. Desert Inn Road, is handling private arrangements.
Kristina Ann Hart
Kristina Ann Hart, 34, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born July 8, 1967, in Pontiac, Mich. A resident for 26 years, she was a beauty school receptionist.
She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Judy Hloros-Jurinovics and Tony Jurinovics of Las Vegas; her father and stepmother, Donald and Sandra Lemmert of Beaver, W.Va.; four sisters, Angela White of Henderson, Tabitha Torres and Donella Lemmert, both of Beaver, and Shawna Lemmert of Pontiac; and one brother, Robert Lemmert of Pontiac.
Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. Wednesday and one hour prior to 11 a.m. services Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will be private.
The family suggests contributions to the donor's favorite charity.
Mickey R. Heathcott
Mickey R. Heathcott, 78, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 24, 1922, in Pleasantville, Texas. A resident for seven years, she was a retired waitress.
She is survived by her companion, Boris Beard of Las Vegas; and one nephew, Steven G. Ward of Jackson, Tenn.
Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is arranging private services.
Nenita B. Hedrick
Nenita B. Hedrick, 45, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospice. She was born Nov. 2, 1955, in the Philippines. A resident for 21 years, she was a dealer.
She is survived by two sons, Christopher Hedrick and Robert Hedrick, both of Las Vegas; one sister, Lolita, and one brother, Ray Romero, both of the Philippines.
A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd.
Donald W. Herbert
Donald W. Herbert, 66, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born March 29, 1935, in Clairton, Pa. A resident for 21 years, he was a retired Gold Strike executive and Korean War Marine Corps veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Kathryn; two sons, Rick W. Herbert and Jess D. Herbert, both of Las Vegas; and three grandchildren.
Graveside services will be in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Willard 'Tiny' Lehman
Willard "Tiny" Lehman, 76, of Henderson died Sunday in Henderson. He was born December 3, 1924, in Ceylon, Minn. A resident for two years, he was a retired welder for a steel fabrication firm and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by three daughters, Charyl Green of Henderson, Loretta Lehman of Artesia, N.M., and Laurie McGee of Fontana, Calif.; three sons, Scott Lehman of Albany, Ore., Robert Lehman of Bloomington, Calif., and Randy Lehman of Sugarland, Texas; 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Chapel, Henderson.

Leo Maldarelli
Leo Maldarelli, 86, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 16, 1914, in Pennsylvania. A resident for eight years, he was a vice president of a furniture store.
He is survived by his wife, Katherine.

Brenda Kay Miller
Brenda Kay Miller, 47, of Boulder City died Friday in Boulder City. She was born Nov. 23, 1953, in Columbus, Ohio. A resident for 13 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, William II; two daughters, Sherrie Lynn Lambert of Crestview Hills, Ky., and Natasha Racquel Lambert of Las Vegas; one son, Rockford Lynn Lambert II of Groves City, Ohio; one stepdaughter, P.C. Jackson of New York state; two stepsons, William Miller III of Boulder City and Britten Miller of Las Vegas; and three grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 4 p.m. until a 6 p.m. service today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will be private.
Paul Snow Miller
Paul Snow Miller, 72, of Henderson died Saturday in a local hospice. He was born Dec. 13, 1928, in Salt Lake City. A resident for eight years, he was a retired freight company truck driver, a Korean War Army veteran and a member of the National Rifle Association.
He is survived by his wife, Delores J.; two daughters, Linda Mann of Lake Arrowhead, Calif., and Nancy Cueva of Henderson; one son, Paul L. Miller of Elkland, Mo.; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Mathilda "Tillie" Robberstad, 94, of Boulder City died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Jan. 6, 1907, in Erie, N.D. A resident for three years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two daughters, Marla J. Effertz of Boulder City and Joan Fiechtner of Fargo, N.D.; three sisters, Marie Porath of Appleton, Wis., Frieda O'Rourke of Milwaukee and Helen Riddle of Bloomington, Minn.; 14 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Christ Lutheran Church, 1401 Fifth St., Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Raymond Howard Schoot
Raymond Howard Schoot, 75, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born May 17, 1926, in Chicago. A resident for eight years, he was a retired truck driver, a World War II Navy veteran and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia; five sons, Raymond W. Schoot of St. Joliet, Ill., Gary Schoot of Chicago, Michael Schoot and James Schoot, both of Las Vegas, and Robert Schoot of Clarendan Hills, Ill.; two daughters, Jeanne Schoot of Las Vegas and Kathleen Moravec of Westmont, Ill.; two brothers, William Schoot of Cicero, Ill., and Richard Schoot of Reno; and four grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.
Patsy Emery 'Trish' Simola
Patsy Emery "Trish" Simola, 70, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 20, 1930, in Orem, Utah. A Las Vegas resident for most of her life, she worked on telephone surveys.
She is survived by one son, Michael Emery of Las Vegas; two daughters, Judy Stibick of Las Vegas and Pamela Borinstein of Dallas; one sister, Connie Massey of Las Vegas; and five grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Friday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will be private.

Lyola M. Smith
Lyola M. Smith, 65, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born March 18, 1936, in Hettinger, N.D. A resident for 38 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two daughters, Carolann Banks and Gayla Brown, and two sons, Sam Smith and Todd Smith, all of Las Vegas; one brother, Howard Edwards of Texas; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Frances Stevens
Frances Stevens, 83, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 20, 1918, in LaMoure, N.D. A resident for more than 50 years, she was a waitress at El Cortez hotel.
She is survived by one son, Joseph L. Stevens of Chicago; two sisters, Catherine Ferris and Stella Robinson, both of Las Vegas; and one godchild, Maelyn Chan of Danville, Calif.
Visitation is scheduled 1-3 p.m. Thursday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Palm Memorial Park.
Mary R. Swaney
Mary R. Swaney, 76, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Oct. 4, 1924, in Twin Falls, Idaho. A resident for 44 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by three daughters, Donna Pottratz of Canby, Ore., Sheryl Washington of Tonopah and Karen Fraley of Reno; one brother, John Read of Boise, Idaho; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Chapel, Main. Burial will follow at 4 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Memorial Park.
Mathew Tilp
Mathew Tilp, 41, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. A resident for 32 years, he was born Aug. 12, 1959, in Kentucky.
He is survived by his wife, Nickelette; one son, Aaron; and his father, Frank.

Vera Valinoti
Vera Valinoti, 84, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local care center. She was born April 20, 1917, in New York City. A resident for 23 years, she was a retired factory seamstress.
She is survived by one daughter, Frances Gargano, and one sister, Mary Schlem, both of Las Vegas; and three grandchildren.
Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
