A Florida resort developer and marketer is drafting alliances with hotel and resort management companies to expand room inventory for its timeshare customers.
Bluegreen Corp., Boca Raton, Fla., is developing alliances with more than 300 hotels and resorts in the United States and the Caribbean and already has agreements with Adams Mark Hotels and Resorts, Provident Suites and Estero Island Beach Resorts.
It currently works with Vacation Resorts International and its Olympian Palms Resort in Las Vegas.
Lani Liber, vice president of Bluegreen Resort Services, a division of Bluegreen, said the company would establish new alliances in Las Vegas as demand climbs above current inventory levels. She did not say how much inventory the company holds in Las Vegas.
The company currently has no plans to develop its own resort in Las Vegas.
