Krolicki to attend policy seminar
The Council of State Governments has selected state Treasurer Brian Krolicki for the Toll Fellowship, a weeklong seminar on government trends and policy development.
Krolicki was one of 40 people named this year and was the only Nevadan in the group. He was nominated by Gov. Kenny Guinn.
The program, to be held in Lexington, Ky., Saturday through Aug. 23, is aimed at developing new leaders for state governments.
Nevada honored by national organization
The Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada has awarded a certificate of achievement for excellence in financial reporting to Nevada.
State Controller Kathy Augustine said the award is for the comprehensive annual financial report produced by her office for fiscal year 2000.
The association is composed of 14,000 government finance professionals.
