Robert E. Burnett
Robert E. Burnett, 76, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born June 17, 1925, in Emporia, Kan. A resident for 14 years, he was a retired civil service high-tech engineer and World War II Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Henrietta; one daughter, Cherryl Davin, and one son, Patrick Burnett, both of Las Vegas.
Graveside services will be 9 a.m. Thursday in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
The family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society, 1325 E. Harmon Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
B.D. 'Pete' Faddis
B.D. "Pete" Faddis, 75, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 20, 1925, in Qualls, Okla. A resident for 40 years, he was a retired real estate salesman and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by his companion, Hope Rogers of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Graveside services will follow at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Ka Henderson
Ka Henderson, 47, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 23, 1953, in Germany. A resident for 2 1/2 years, she was a civil service clerk.
She is survived by two brothers, John Henderson of Las Vegas and Tom Henderson of Alexander City, Ala.
Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Theodore Kasel
Theodore Kasel, 88, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local health care center. He was born July 15, 1913, in Cleveland. A resident for 23 years, he was a retired city government security guard.
He is survived by his wife, Ann; three daughters, Beverly Ladonne, Joyce Payton and Bonnie Basso, and two sons, Richard Kasel and Theodore Kasel, all of Las Vegas; 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
Eleanor Pawl
Eleanor Pawl, 73, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. A resident for 23 years, she was born April 19, 1928, in Cleveland.
She is survived by two sons, Allen Pawl of Las Vegas and Richard Pawl of Cleveland; one daughter, Gale Pawl of Las Vegas; two sisters, Sandy Stevens of Phoenix and Anne Jean Fernback of Cleveland; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled noon-1 p.m. Tuesday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.
Ruth Jeanette Rudnicki
Ruth Jeanette Rudnicki, 71, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born June 7, 1930, in Detroit. A resident for seven years, she was a retired city government accounts clerk and a member of the Boulder City Republican Women's Club.
She is survived by her husband, Zigmund J.; one daughter, Monika Czerwinski of Las Vegas; one son, Ronald Rudnicki of Boulder City; two sisters, Jessie Williamson of Las Vegas and Helen Bellet of Michigan; one brother, Chuck Ernst of Michigan; and five grandchildren.
Graveside services will be noon Wednesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
The family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society, Breast Cancer Research, 1325 E. Harmon Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
Anthony J. Small
Anthony J. Small, 59, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. A resident for many years, he was a sales representative for a printing company.
He is survived by one sister, Mary Lamaster of Lockport, Ill.
No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Illinois. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Mary Valone
Mary Valone, 85, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 26, 1915, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 18 years, she was a seamstress.
She is survived by two sons, John Valone of Las Vegas and Peter Valone of Scottsdale, Ariz.; and two grandchildren.
Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., handled arrangements.
Patricia Velasquez
Patricia Velasquez, 59, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Sept. 20, 1941, in Detroit. A resident for 36 years, she was a beautician.
She is survived by four daughters, Pamela Airgood and Jennie Airgood, both of Arizona, and Victoria Ayon and Trina Fuller, both of Las Vegas; two sons, Frank Androyna and Vincent Velasquez, both of Las Vegas; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling private arrangements.
The family suggests donations to the American Lung Association, 3375 Glen Ave., No. 7, Las Vegas, NV 89121.
Mike Xanthoules
Mike Xanthoules, 74, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 15, 1926, in Detroit. A resident for 15 years, he was a parts inspector.
He is survived by his wife, Marjorie; and one sister, Helen Papas of Michigan.
Burial will be in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
