Richard Benenati, 60, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born July 11, 1941, in Gary, N.Y. A resident for 12 years, he was a hotel porter and a Vietnam War Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca J.; two daughters, Jessica Taylor and Evelyn J. Tharp, and one son, Richard Derek Benenati, all of Las Vegas; one brother, Joseph Benanati of San Diego; one sister, Mary Ellen Ballejos of Winslow, Ariz.; and 11 grandchildren.
Graveside services were scheduled at 1:20 p.m. today in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane, is handling arrangements.
Colos J. Bennett
Colos J. Bennett, 83, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born May 25, 1918, in Calabash, N.C. A resident for 20 years, he was a retired oil company engineer and a World War II veteran of the Merchant Marines.
He is survived by his wife, Theo; and two sisters, Hazel Craig of Wilmington, N.C., and Marie O'Brien of Honolulu.

Mary Ann Busch
Mary Ann Busch, 70, of Henderson died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born March 31, 1931, in Topeka, Kan. A resident for 37 years, she was a homemaker and a member of Women of the Moose.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Richard; three daughters, Laura Primer of Texas, Cheryl Bull of Las Vegas and Diana Garman of Henderson; two sons, Robert V. Busch of Henderson and Richard L. Busch of Arizona; one sister, Betty Jakeway of Michigan; 16 great-grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

George P. Corniotis, 71, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born April 28, 1930, in New York City. A resident for 12 years, he was a retired president of an import-export business and a Marine Corps veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Marsha; one daughter, Christine Patterson of Richmond, Va.; one sister, Pauline Corniotis Hunter of Upper Montclair, N.J.; and two grandchildren.

Alfred A. "Bud" Corsi, 68, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local care center. A musician in Las Vegas, Los Angeles and San Francisco, he was born Sept. 26, 1932, in Bethel, Ohio.
He is survived by his ex-wife, Darlene Corsi of Las Vegas; one brother, Lou Corsi of Bethel; and one sister, Mary Corsi Kelley of Ann Arbor, Mich.

Jean Lee DeSantis, 76, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born May 13, 1925, in Wellsville, N.Y. A resident for six years, she was a legal secretary for 20 years and a member of the Moose in Hornell, N.Y.
She is survived by two daughters, Pamela Lecceardone of Minnesota and Penny Weston of New York; one son, Bruce Wallace of Arizona; 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Irving Fields
Irving Fields, 86, of Stuart, Fla., died Monday in Stuart. He was born Nov. 11, 1914, in New York City. A former Las Vegas resident for 48 years, he was a retired shoe store owner, a World War II Army veteran and a member of the Jewish War Veterans.
He is survived by one son, Jordan Fields of Jensen Beach, Fla.; one brother, Richard Fields of Boynton Beach, Fla.; and four grandchildren.
Services were scheduled at 1 p.m. today in Temple Beth Sholom, 10700 Havenwood Lane, followed by graveside services at Woodlawn Cemetery. King David Memorial Chapel and Cemetery, 2697 Eldorado Lane, handled arrangements.

Juamita Gage, 66, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 6, 1934, in Arizona. A resident for 40 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two daughters, Gloria Conner of Las Vegas and Norma Conner of Tucson, Ariz.; two sons, Edred Conner and Henry Dixon, both of Tucson; 21 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Betty Gozikowski, 69, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. She was born May 8, 1932, in Louisville, Ky. A resident for 26 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Eugene; four sons, Terry L. Clark and Bradley G. Scott, both of Louisville, Robert Kintner of Columbia, Ky., and Paul R. Nazzareno of Villa Park, Calif.; three daughters, Virginia Ann Hodge of Bowling Green, Ky., Linda Dakis of Villa Park, Calif., and Carla Nazzareno of Pittsburgh; two stepdaughters, Shari MacFawn and Deborah Choltko, both of Henderson; five sisters, Josephine Clinton, Helen Fuchs, Mary Marshall and Martha Qinker, all of Louisville, and Loretta; two brothers, Charles Clark and Robert Clark, both of Lebanon Junction, Ky.
A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.
Hazel I. Hunter
Hazel I. Hunter, 74, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Oct. 16, 1926, in Portales, N.M. A resident for 30 years, she was a retired bookkeeper for a country store.
She is survived by two daughters, Sharon Cookson and Gail Moore, both of Las Vegas, and Sada Brown of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Services and burial will be in Portales. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.

Lillian Judge Kowalski, 65, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born July 8, 1936, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for four years, she was a homemaker and a member of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by one daughter, Janeen Hinden of Las Vegas; two sons, Robert Judge of Brooklyn and Timothy Judge of Las Vegas; her mother, Mildred Hart, and one sister, Joann McKenzie, both of Brooklyn; two brothers, Thomas Hart of Staten Island, N.Y., and Phillip Hart of Point Pleasant, N.J.; and 10 grandchildren.

Shirley J. Kuhn, 80, of Henderson died Saturday in Henderson. She was born Jan. 26, 1921, in North Dakota. A resident for 39 years, she was a retired plumbing company owner.
She is survived by one son, Terry Kuhn of Kent, Ohio; one sister, Florene Rich of Woodburn, Ore.; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Harold H. Leslie, 87, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local care center. He was born May 2, 1914, in Gloversville, N.Y. A resident for 14 years, he was a retired furniture salesman, a World War II Navy veteran and a former member of the Elks.
He is survived by one son, John Leslie of Oxnard, Calif.; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

James Edward Lowey, 81, of Las Vegas died Friday in California. He was born Nov. 26, 1919, in Panama, Okla. A resident for 40 years, he was a cement mason.
He is survived by one son, James Lowey of Las Vegas; one daughter, Cozette Tsouras of Lakeside, Calif.; and five grandchildren.

Josephine J. Mack, 86, of Henderson died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born May 21, 1915, in Kansas City, Mo. A resident for 11 years, she was a retired beautician.
She is survived by two daughters, Shirley Carter of Simi Valley, Calif., and Sheila O'Cronin of Henderson; two sons, Kenneth Mack of Denver and Patrick Mack of La Jolla, Calif.; 16 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Sophie Martorano, 91, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born March 8, 1910, in New Jersey. A resident for many years, she was a seamstress.
She is survived by one daughter, Anna Schweitzer of Las Vegas.
No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Paterson, N.J. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Donald Nelson
Donald Nelson, 74, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 25, 1926, in Provo, Utah. A resident for many years, he was in the grocery business, employed by Brews Household Appliances, a salesman for AM Lewis, a grocery warehouse manager and a World War II and Korean War Navy veteran.
He was preceded in death by one son, Gary; and one granddaughter, Melissa.
He is survived by his wife, Miriam; four sons, Don Jr. and Merlin Hardy, both of Las Vegas, Alan Hardy of Boulder City and Matthew Hardy of Lake Stevens, Wash.; six daughters, Becky Ellsworth and Debra Salayich, both of Las Vegas, Rebekah Smith of Ashland, Ore., Loretta Wollenzien and Julia Nielsen, both of Logandale, and Jeanette Deering of Henderson; two sisters, Marjorie Johannsen and Fern Pinkman, both of Las Vegas; one brother, Larry Nelson of St. George, Utah; 36 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 10 a.m. services Thursday in the LDS 6th Ward chapel, 3400 W. Charleston Blvd. Burial will be in Utah. Metcalf Mortuary, 288 West St. George Blvd., St. George, Utah, is handling arrangements.
Larry Sheldon Oldford
Larry Sheldon Oldford, 48, of Henderson died Saturday. He was born Dec. 6, 1952, in Dania, Fla. A resident for 20 years, he was a cook's helper and a member of Culinary Local 226.
He is survived by one daughter, Angie Alvers of San Bernardino, Calif.; his mother and stepfather, Elizabeth and George Girard of Florida; three brothers, Dale Oldford of Clayton, Calif., Gary Oldford of Port Ludlow, Wash., and Barry Oldford of Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.

Donald C. Olling, 55, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born March 7, 1946, Los Angeles. A resident for six years, he was a security officer at the Las Vegas Club and the El Cortez after retiring as an Air Force master sergeant and Vietnam War veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Cristina; one son, Donald Olling Jr. of Trafalgar, Ind.; two daughters, Marleen Zamora of Las Vegas and Evelyn Serafica of Los Angeles; and one grandchild.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas E.; one son, Thomas E. Palmieri Jr. of Henderson; one daughter, Diane Florido of Chatsworth, Calif.; one sister, Jenny Scala, and one brother, Frank Dellassio, both of New York; and three grandchildren.

Lisio Eduardo 'Eddy' Saenz
Lisio Eduardo "Eddy" Saenz, 67, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 14, 1933, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. A resident for 34 years, he was a junketer at the Dunes hotel for 20 years.
He is survived by his wife, Maria.

Lewis Scott, 84, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 13, 1917, in Indiana. A resident for seven years, he was a sheet metal worker and a World War II Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Helen; four sons, Jim Scott, Roger Scott, Don Scott and Ron Scott; and seven grandchildren.

Stanley A. Slater, 64, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 21, 1936, in Orange, N.J. A resident for two years, he was a retired Air Force lieutenant colonel, Vietnam War veteran, a member of the U.S. Military Academy Association of Graduates, Las Vegas West Point Society, Retired Military and Friends Group in Sun City, Knights of Columbus and American Legion.
He is survived by his wife, Suzanne C.; three daughters, Sheryl A. Gibson of St. Petersburg, Fla., Sharon A. Haecker of San Antonio and Sandra A. Brewer of Houston; two sons, Steven C. Slater of San Antonio and Scott C. Slater of Fort Worth, Texas; his stepmother, Wanda Slater of Kenilworth, N.J.; and five grandchildren.

She is survived by one son, Charles Adams of Pioche; one sister, Marie of Colorado; one brother, Raymond of Georgia; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Beverly B. Trivers, 56, of Las Vegas died July 30 in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 4, 1944, in Philadelphia. A resident for 19 years, he was a dealer.
He is survived by two daughters, Tammy Scott of Williamstown, N.J., and Beverly Prince of Absecon, N.J.; his parents, John and Marjorie Rabb, and one sister, Dorothy McGriff, all of Egg Harbor Township, N.J.; three brothers, Prentis Trivers of Seattle, Ronald Trivers of Skullville, N.J., and John Rabb of Absecon; and six grandchildren.

William R. Turman, 85, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 7, 1915, in Sulfur Springs, Texas. A resident for 48 years, he was a retired Desert Inn maintenance worker for 32 years, a World War II Army veteran and a member of the Masons.
He is survived by five daughters, Josephine of San Bernardino, Calif., Barbara Thurston, Beatrice Thompson and Juanita Johnson, all of Las Vegas, and Mary Lee Jones of Baton Rouge, La.; three sons, Edward G. Johnson, Tommy Johnson and Archie Johnson, both of Las Vegas; 32 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren and 26 great-great-grandchild.

James Richard Turner, 47, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 1, 1953, in Africa. A resident for 13 years, he was a gaming boxman, an Air Force veteran and a member of the National Rifle Association.
He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Alberta; two sons, Curtis Golightly and James Coates; one daughter, Katherine Ann Turner; and one brother, Thomas Howard Turner.

Annie Elizabeth Wilds, 28, of Las Vegas and Lake Havasu City, Ariz., died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 29, 1972, in California. A resident for one year, she was a telemarketer.
She is survived by her grandparents, Arnold and Marie R. Thomas of Westminster, Calif.
