Bush picks Reno judge

President Bush today announced the nomination of Judge Larry Hicks of Reno for one of two new federal judge positions in Nevada.
Sen. John Ensign, R-Nev., recommended Hicks to fill one of two new positions included in a bill signed in 1999 by President Clinton.
Nevada's six federal judges were considered among the most overworked in the nation.
