UNLV's 2001 basketball conference opener has been changed because of a scheduling conflict at the Thomas & Mack Center, and two other games have been rescheduled.
Instead of opening Mountain West action at Air Force on Sunday, Jan. 6, the Rebels will host Wyoming on Jan. 5, then visit Air Force on Jan. 7. The Wyoming game had to be rescheduled from Jan. 19, when the Thomas & Mack is hosting Disney on Ice.
Also, the Rebels' game at BYU has been moved to Jan. 15 from Jan. 10, the last of four games in 11 days to start UNLV's conference season.
The Rebels open the season Nov. 17 by hosting Wisconsin.
