A 33-year-old Las Vegas man injured last week in an accident died over the weekend.
David Christensen died Saturday morning in University Medical Center from injuries sustained in a two-vehicle accident Wednesday, hospital officials said.
Metro Police said Christensen was driving a motorcycle west on Washington Avenue when Mary Kathryn Vaughn, 51, of Las Vegas, driving east on Washington Avenue, apparently turned left into his path. Christensen crashed into the front of the 1994 Isuzu Rodeo Vaughn was driving, police said.
Investigators listed the primary cause of the accident as an unsafe left turn by Vaughn. No charges have been filed and the investigation is continuing, police said.
