Bafferta - Draws just inside top pick, Pincay aboard Spawr trainee, a factor throughout with dangerous connections. Value Play -- Warren's Whistle
2nd Race -- Valiant Wonder - Another Pincay/Spawr production, draws good post for route stakes, should get a good trip here. Driven Force - Solis astride Canani trainee, well spotted here, must overcome outside draw though. Value Play -- Spanish Ranch
3rd Race -- Rare Charmer - Pincay scales Dollace trainee here, veteran mare tough in these spots, should get cagey handling in this. She's Grand - Draws good inner post for the route turf stakes, McCarron aboard Sahadi trainee, should get a catbird trip here. Value Play -- Top Of Our Game
4th Race -- Lazy Slusan - Classy mare going good right now, Espinoza on Dolan trainee, tough in this spot. Cover Gal - Speedy filly breaks from rail post at 7-panels, Pincay aboard Stokes trainee, should be in the mix throughout. Value Play -- Phaenna
5th Race -- Lighten Up Tiny - Baze aboard this one of three Baffert-trained 'hidden entries' here, draws good box for full field sprinting, Tiny could Lighten Up the board. Escape With Me - Second of Baffert-trained trio, hustling Espinoza scales here, needs prompt start and clear sailing from rail post. Value Play -- Lady Evergreen
6th Race -- Native Desert - Hard-knocking gelding lands likely spot, Delahoussaye on Garcia trainee, will give it his usual best. Flying Rudolph - Baze scales Stute trainee, should be competitive with these, must overcome outside post in this route turf stakes. Value Play -- Meet Me In Dixie
7th Race -- Cee's Elegance - Draws good post for full field in route stakes, McCarron aboard Robbins trainee, takes the blinkers off for this. The Heebster - Hustling Espinoza atop this Hess trainee, another that draws good box, makes late impact. Value Play -- Glittering Affair
8th Race -- Irisheyesareflying - Draws the rail for marathon turf stakes, should dictate the tempo here, Espinoza will try to ration a win out of Dolan trainee. Continental Red - Likes this course, Delahoussaye aboard Jory trainee, rider will know when to time charge for best chance to win. Value Play -- Lucky Molar
9th Race -- Hoovergetthekeys - Northern California multipule stakes winner nixed Kentucky Derby chance with dull effort in Texas, back with ones he should handle. Romanceishope - Improving Sahadi-trained runner gets McCarron again, new 7,000-winner man fits this one well, good spot if top one falters. Value Play -- Stocks Are Rising
10th Race -- Ex Federali - Speedster draws extreme outside post for nightcap Cal-bred day of stakes, Espinoza on Baffert trainee, might not stop here.
