Poll lists LV among top spring destinations

A poll of the nation's travel agents says Las Vegas is the second most popular domestic destination booked for travel this spring.
A survey of the Spring 2001 Hot Spots by the American Society of Travel Agents and Fodor's, a travel publication company, indicates that Las Vegas, which received 16.9 percent of the bookings, only trailed Orlando, Fla., 23 percent, among the nation's most popular destinations.
Las Vegas was followed by New York, San Francisco, New Orleans, Los Angeles, Miami, a tie between San Diego and Phoenix and a tie between Honolulu; Tampa, Fla.; and Washington, D.C.
