ST. CHARLES, Mo. -- Harrah's Entertainment Inc. of Las Vegas agreed to pay a $150,000 fine to settle Missouri disciplinary charges that its North Kansas City casino accepted at least $30,000 in unlawful advertising fees to promote various beer brands at boxing matches and other events, the Kansas City Star reported.

Separately, the Star reported the Missouri Gaming Commission on Wednesday fined the owners of the former Flamingo Hilton Casino $100,000 over several disciplinary cases from 1999 and 2000 alleging various violations involving surveillance, purchasing and accounting procedures and the state's $500 loss limit.

And the owners of the President Casino in St. Louis were fined $119,000 for violations including making illegal political contributions, the Star reported.
