The Bally Gaming division of Las Vegas-based Alliance Gaming Corp. has signed a licensing agreement with a Texas company that will lead to the distribution of its games in the Washington state Indian casino market.
Alliance announced the deal with Multimedia Games Inc., Austin. The terms say Bally Gaming will receive a royalty and a guarantee that Multimedia will purchase an undisclosed number of products from Bally over a three-year period.
"This agreement provides an additional channel for Bally's extensive library of games and gives us a strong presence in the growing Washington market," Robert Miodunski, president and chief operating officer of Alliance, said in a statement.
Alliance designs, manufactures, operates and distributes a variety of games and operates the nation's top slot route as well as two casinos, one in Northern Nevada and one in Mississippi.
Multimedia says it is the leading provider of technology services to Indian casinos and it also has developed video lottery and interactive bingo games and television game shows, delivering them over a proprietary broadband communication network known as Betnet.
