Nicholas G. Bonelli
Nicholas G. Bonelli, 55, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 23, 1945, in Youngstown, Ohio. A resident for 50 years, he was a hydroelectric mechanic for the Bureau of Reclamation and a Vietnam War Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Susan; one son, Nicholas Bonelli of Seattle; one daughter, Natasha Bonelli of Golden Valley, Ariz.; and one sister, Helen O'Farrell of Phoenix.
American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane, is handling private arrangements.
Theresa F. Briggs
Theresa F. Briggs, 82, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. She was born July 28, 1918, in Youngstown, Ohio. A resident for 25 years, she was a retired owner of a private investigation company.
She is survived by two sons, Bill Theobald and David Briggs, both of Las Vegas; one sister, Mary Hoover of Kerrville, Texas; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. services Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will be private.
The family suggests donations to Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada, 1501 Las Vegas Blvd. North.
John Colletti
John Colletti, 76, of Henderson died Thursday in Henderson. He was born Aug. 24, 1924, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 15 years, he was a retired truck driver for a frozen food company and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly; two stepsons, Donald Hambly and Bill Hambly, both of Henderson; two sisters, Mary Scandaliato of Las Vegas and Rose Colletti of New York; four brothers, Thomas Scandaliato of Miami, Angelo Scandaliato of New York and Stephen Colletti and Salvatore Scandaliato, both of Las Vegas; and three grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, Henderson. Graveside services will be 12:30 p.m. Tuesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
Sheila A. Gallop
Sheila A. Gallop, 72, of Johnson, Iowa, died Monday in Johnson. She was born March 8, 1929, in Ironwood, Mich. A former Las Vegas resident, she owned the San Bar Restaurant and was a waitress at the Tropicana and Las Vegas Hilton, from where she retired in 1991.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob; one son, Fred Nichols; and one daughter, Cathy Nichols.
She is survived by one son, the Rev. Aquinas M. Nicholas, OSB, of Des Moines, Iowa; and one daughter, Beverly Nichols of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled 5 p.m. until an 8 p.m. rosary in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Saturday in the Shrine of the Most Holy Redeemer Church.
The family suggests donations to St. Gabriel's Priory, 1913 University Ave., Des Moines, IA 50314.
Thelma G. Hamilton
Thelma G. Hamilton, 77, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born March 15, 1924, in Australia. A resident for 45 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two daughters, Sharon Hamilton-Martinez and Carolyn Destefano, and one son, Eugene Hamilton, all of Las Vegas; three sisters, Eileen McLeod, Kathleen Asher and Doreen McKay, and one brother, Maurice Ryan, all of Australia; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled noon-5 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. and 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. services Sunday in Palm Mortuary, Eastern. Burial will be in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
Bernard Wesley Hovestadt
Bernard Wesley Hovestadt, 53, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born May 17, 1947, in Rhode Island. A resident for 28 years, he was a retired operating engineer and a Vietnam War Navy veteran.
He is survived by three daughters, Christina M. Hovestadt-Jerrell and Antarines Hovestadt-Bell, both of Las Vegas, and Jennifer Hovestadt-Criss of Jacksonville, Fla.; one son, Bernard Joseph Wesley Hovestadt of Las Vegas; and 12 grandchildren.
Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.
John R. Katsigenis
John R. Katsigenis, 72, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 6, 1928, in Calexico, Calif. A resident for 24 years, he was an electronics engineer for the federal government and an Air Force veteran.
He is survived by three daughters, Deborah Lynn Piddisi, Sandy Torres and Victoria Jane Katsigenis, and one son, John W. Katsigenis, all of Las Vegas; two sisters, Olga Houlgate of Carlsbad, Calif., and Dr. Amalia Katsigeanis of California; and two grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services will follow at 4:15 p.m. Saturday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home.
Frances V. Krack
Frances V. Krack, 89, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born March 11, 1912, in Detroit. A resident for 18 years, she was a hair stylist and designer.
She is survived by her husband, Robert; two daughters, Daun Lenz of Olympia, Wash., and Sister Heidi Marie Krack of Beech Grove, Ind.; three sons, Phil Gammon of Hollandale, Fla., Robert Gammon of Bloomington, Ind., and Reed Krack of Orma, W.Va.; one brother, Thom Gianatti of Chico, Calif.; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 3-5 p.m. with a 4:30 p.m. rosary Sunday in Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd. Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Monday in St. Anne Catholic Church, 1901 S. Maryland Parkway. Burial will be in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
Amanda Le Leeman
Amanda Le Leeman, 4, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born April 10, 1997, in Las Vegas.
She is survived by her parents, Brad and Ceci Leeman, and one sister, Alisha Leeman, both of Las Vegas; and her grandparents, Benny and Edie Blanchard of Las Vegas and Virginia and Jim Leeman of Plymouth, Minn.
Visitation is scheduled noon until 2 p.m. services Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
Elizabeth Nelson Patrick
Elizabeth Nelson Patrick, 76, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospice. She was born April 27, 1924, in Indianapolis. A resident for 30 years, she was a retired university historian and a member of various historical societies.
She is survived by one brother, Robert Nelson of Indianapolis.

Peter R. Pusateri
Peter R. Pusateri, 68, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local care center. He was born Oct. 30, 1932, in Scranton, Pa. A resident for two years, he was a produce clerk for Smith's Food and Drug, an Army veteran, a musician and a member of UFECW Local 711.
Services will be held later in Pennsylvania.
The family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society, 1325 E. Harmon Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
James Byron Ridley
James Byron Ridley, 72, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 1, 1928, in Los Angeles. A resident for 14 years, he was a service representative for a bottled water company and a volunteer as a Medicare counselor and a helper in senior organizations.
He was preceded in death by one son, James, three weeks ago.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Jacqueline; two daughters, Joy Lynn Farias of California and Jo Ellen Bonse of New York state; one brother, Tom Ridley of Hawthorne; and one grandchild.
A memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the LDS chapel, 4201 Stewart Ave. Burial will be private. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
James 'Jimmy Walker' Shepard
James "Jimmy Walker" Shepard, 62, of Las Vegas died April 12 in Las Vegas. He was born July 14, 1938, in Michigan. A resident for 32 years, he was a radio disc jockey.
He is survived by his companion, Barbara Shepard of Las Vegas; two sons, James Shepard of San Antonio and Scott Shepard of Prescott, Mich.; one stepdaughter, Wendy Jones of Las Vegas; two stepsons, Bill Risner of Missouri and Ray Risner of Tennessee; his mother, Elizabeth Shepard of Las Vegas; one brother, Walter Shepard of Weaverville, Calif.; and five grandchildren.

Herbert John Skinner
Herbert John Skinner, 84, of Henderson died Tuesday in a local care center. He was born Sept. 13, 1916, in Gowen, Mich. A resident for 28 years, he was a retired Air Force major, a World War II and Korean War veteran, a member of the Retired Officers Association, Wally Byam Caravan Club, Pilot Class 43-D and the Disabled American Veterans.
He is survived by his wife, Yvonne M.; two daughters, Colette Skinner of Henderson and Joan Ludwig of Riverside, Calif.; one son, Charlie Barbera of Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Howard Joseph Tart
Howard Joseph Tart, 79, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born April 17, 1921, in Newark, N.J. A resident 18 years, he was a U.S. Postal Service clerk, an Army veteran and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1941, Irvington, N.J.
He is survived by two daughters, Patricia Marriott and Michele Moran, both of Palo Alto, Calif.

Fred A. Taylor
Fred A. Taylor, 85, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 22, 1915, in Billings, Mont. A resident for 28 years, he was a retired insurance agent.
He is survived by his wife, Mary; one brother, John Taylor of Mesa, Ariz.
Visitation is scheduled 10:30-11:30 a.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
Adam Patrick Thorsen
Adam Patrick Thorsen, 29, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 31, 1972, in Pennsylvania. A longtime resident, he was a computer engineer.
He is survived by his parents, Terrence and Linda Thorsen, both of Monroeville, Pa.; and one sister, Aimee Thorsen of Chambersberg, Pa.
No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Pittsburgh. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson.
Ernest Van Derveer
Ernest Van Derveer, 87, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 22, 1913, in Michigan. A resident for 28 years, he was a self employed landscraper.
He is survived by one daughter, Samantha Reive of Springtown, Texas; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 1-7 p.m. Saturday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will be private.
