GULFPORT, Miss. -- President Broadwater Hotel LLC said it filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection after defaulting on a mortgage payment of more than $37 million. It's a subsidiary of President Casinos of St. Louis, though the bankruptcy doesn't include the property's casino.
