Alexander Adams
Alexander Adams, 85, of Henderson died Friday in Henderson. He was born Aug. 28, 1915, in Trenton, Mo. A resident for 20 years, he was a retired railroad employee, owned his own supermarket in California and was a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Rita; one daughter, Milissa Adams of Henderson; three sons, Joshua Adams of Henderson, Deryl Adams of Boulder City and Paul Adams of San Jose, Calif.; and three grandchildren.
No local services are scheduled. Services and burial will be in California. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
R. Norrison Beatty
R. Norrison Beatty, 84, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born July 4, 1916, in Reno. A lifelong resident, he was CEO of Credit Bureau Central, a World War II Marine Corps veteran and a member of the Las Vegas Executives Association, Lions Club, Lamda Chi Alpha Fraternity and Chamber of Commerce.
He is survived by one daughter, Marcia Nicholas of Prescott, Ariz., one son, Richard Beatty of Las Vegas; one brother, Dr. John Beatty of Pleasanton, Calif.; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Thursday in Christ Church Episcopal, 2000 Maryland Parkway. Nevada Funeral Service, 2983 Fremont St., handled arrangements.

Pierre Charles Bernasconi
Pierre Charles Bernasconi, 74, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 9, 1926, in Lyon, France. A resident for 13 years, he was a machinist in the aviation field.
He is survived by two daughters, Patricia Bernasconi of Portludlow, Wash., and Barbara Bertone of Bergamo, Italy; two brothers, Louis Bernasconi of France and Maurice Bernasconi of Switzerland; and seven grandchildren.
Services were 3 p.m. today in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North.
Ronald J. Bush
Ronald J. Bush, 65, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 17, 1935, in Ballinger, Texas. A resident for 24 years, he was a retired communications executive, an Air Force veteran and a member of the TROA, ROA and Former Students Association Texas.
He is survived by his wife, Mary; one daughter, Rhonda Louise Bush of Parker, Colo.; one son, John Charles Bush of Seattle; and one brother, James A. Bush of Kansas City, Mo.
Visitation is scheduled 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. services Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.
William Ray Chumbley
William Ray Chumbley, 68, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 18, 1933, in Hammond, Ind. A resident for 21 years, he was an electrician, Army veteran and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion and Korean Veterans.
He is survived by six brothers, Eugene of Phoenix, Clyde of Manchester, Mo., Clifford of Indiana, Robert of Texas and Donald and Dennis, both of Las Vegas.

Doyal Conner I
Doyal Conner I, 67, of Las Vegas died April 10 in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 2, 1934, in Oklahoma. A resident for 65 years, he was a sheet metal worker in the construction industry.
He is survived by one son, Doyal T. Conner Jr., and one daughter, Lisa Mitch, both of Las Vegas; two brothers, Ted Conner of Arizona and Eugene Conner of Nevada; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Ida Davis
Ida Davis, 89, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born June 21, 1911, in Madison County, Miss. A resident for 45 years, she was a retired hotel porter.
She is survived by one son, Shed Smith, and one sister, Clara Marlow, both of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m.-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in New Jerusalem Baptist Church, 1100 N. D St. Graveside services will be in Palm Memorial Park.
Dorothy Dercole
Dorothy Dercole, 71, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 4, 1929, in New Jersey. A resident for eight years, she was a clerk in the retail sales industry.
She is survived by two brothers, Edward Thomas Dercole of Connecticut and John Decole of Pennsylvania.

Chris A. Dragland
Chris A. Dragland, 75, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local care center. He was born July 16, 1925, in North Dakota. A resident for six years, he was a trade specialist for the Department of Commerce, an Army veteran and a member of the Association for Aid to Lutheran.
He is survived by one son, Steven Dragland; one daughter, Teresa Mouser; three brothers, Juel Dragland, Sid Dragland and Don Dragland; seven sisters, Hazel Rust, Mary Ann Sundquist, Etta Tommerdahl, Gladys Peterson, Grace Von Ruden, Mavis Dahl and Dorothy Stevens.

Dora Mae Dunbar
Dora Mae Dunbar, 75, of Las Vegas died Saturday in North Las Vegas. She was born July 16, 1925, in North Dakota. A resident for 11 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one son, Dennis Dunbar, and two daughters, Diana Anderson and Patty Morris, all of Las Vegas; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be in Canyon Ridge Christian Church, 6200 W. Lone Mountain Road. Valley Memorial Crematory, 745 W. Sunset Road, No. 16, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
William T. Dunch Sr.
William T. Dunch Sr., 76, of Las Vegas died April 2 in a local care center. He was born March 4, 1925, in California. A resident for 40 years, he was a retired transportation driver, World War II Army veteran and a member of the Teamsters Union.
He is survived by one daughter, Debbie Cain of Las Vegas; three sons, Steven Dunch of Las Vegas and William T. Dunch Jr., and James C. Dunch, both of Calif.; one sister, Carol Knight of Colorado Springs, Colo.; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Charles 'Bill' French
Charles "Bill" French, 71, of Henderson died Saturday in Henderson. He was born Nov. 21, 1929, in Chicago. A resident for nine years, he was a retired police officer.
He is survived by his wife, Laura; two daughters, Katherine Charlton of Anaheim Hills, Calif., and Susan Morrison of Irvine, Calif.; one son, Richard French of Littleton, Colo; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Dwain S. Gandee
Dwain S. Gandee, 77, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 23, 1924, in Gering, Neb. A resident for 13 years, he was a retired sanitary engineer.
He is survived by two brothers, Bill Gandee of Las Vegas and Dalen Gandee of Snohomish, Wash.; and two sisters, Maxine Gillespie of Nampa, Idaho, and Joyce Haley of George West, Texas.

Mary Ann Elizabeth Glassmyer, 66, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 28, 1935, in Omaha, Neb. A resident for 29 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Wallace; three daughters, Teresa, Sharon and Sandra; one brother, George Reilly of Las Vegas; three sons, Robert,William and Michael; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Services will be 9:30 a.m. Thursday in St. Christopher's Catholic Church, 1840 N. Bruce St. Burial will be in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Tressie "Billie" Howell, 90, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospice. She was born July 12, 1910, in Coalgate, Okla. A resident for 20 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter, Mildred Daniels of Trussville, Ala.; one brother, Rudy Marinellie of Alaska; and seven grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will be in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Lew J. Justice
Lew J. Justice, 66, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born May 3, 1934, in California. A resident for 30 years, he was a mechanic and truck driver for a freight company.
He is survived by two daughters, Sue Ann Cornwell of Las Vegas and Lisa Boyko of Arizona; one son, James Justice of Las Vegas; and four grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. services Friday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Burial will be private.
Alvin King
Alvin King, 69, of Las Vegas died March 13 in Las Vegas. A resident for many years, he was born Dec. 18, 1931.

Robert Licker
Robert Licker, 86, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 19, 1914, in New Jersey. A longtime resident, he was a workmans comp judge for the State of California.
He is survived by two sons, Gary Licker of Las Vegas and Lawrence Licker of Redding, Calif.
No local services scheduled. Burial will be in Los Angeles. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, handled arrangements.

Dolores E. Murphy
Dolores E. Murphy, 71, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born June 5, 1929, in Velasco, Texas. A resident for 34 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Robert E.; three sons, Michael N. Murphy of Las Vegas, Patrick E. Murphy of Austin, Texas, and Robert C. Murphy of Boulder City; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
James J. Nunes
James J. Nunes, 81, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born March 5, 1920, in Honolulu. A resident for 13 years, he was a retired engineer for the government, a founding member and past president of the Shrine Club and Hunting and Trap Shooting Club and a member of Harry S. Truman Lodge and Morning Calm Lodge, No. 1675.
He is survived by his wife, Joann; three daughters, Sharon Perez, Mary Nunes and Theresa Dugan, all of Las Vegas; three sons, Herbert Nunes of Las Vegas and James Nunes and John Nunes, both of Honolulu; and eight grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled noon until 1 p.m. services Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.
Wilma Ethel Pectol
Wilma Ethel Pectol, 82, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 21, 1918, in Randolph, Utah. A resident for 11 months, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one son, Victor Pectol of Navato, Colo.; three daughters, Connie Pectol of Las Vegas, Karen Higdon of Florence, Colo., and Judy Pectol of Tacoma, Wash.; two brothers, Paul Bowden of Myton, Utah, and Boyd Bowden of Vernal, Utah; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Delsie; one son, Richard Pounds of El Reno, Okla.; one daughter, Cheri Enfield of Arthur, Neb.; one brother, Walter Pounds of Yuma, Ariz.; one sister, Carolyn Daiss of Ogallala; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Carolina B. Sanservino, 90, of Henderson died Saturday in a local hospice. She was born Feb. 5, 1911, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 25 years, she was a retired legal secretary for an investment company.
She is survived by one daughter, Maria Angelini of Henderson; one brother, Louie Fiandola of Long Island, N.Y.; seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 8 a.m.-noon Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Mass will be celebrated 1 p.m. Wednesday in Holy Family Catholic Church, 4490 Mountain Vista. Burial will be in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
Rich 'Punk' Wilson
Rich "Punk" Wilson, 68, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 14, 1932, in South Bloomfield, Ohio. A resident for five years, he was a retired lab technician for a power plant company and a Korean War Army veteran.
He is survived by one daughter, Teresa Guadalupe of Las Vegas; three sons, Rick Wilson of Coshocton, Ohio, Steve Wilson of West Lafayette, Ohio, and Mike Wilson of Las Vegas; two brothers, Gene Wilson of Ashville, Ohio, and Ron Wilson of Gahanna, Ohio; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. graveside services Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
