Henderson offers free workshop on families

The City of Henderson Parks and Recreation Department and the Clark County Family and Youth Services Parenting Project are co-sponsoring "Parenting Solutions," a free workshop designed to maximize family strengths and reduce behavioral problems in children. This 6-week workshop (Thursdays only) will be from 6-8:30 p.m. Thursday through May 24 at the Lorna J. Kesterson Valley View Recreation Center, 500 Harris St. Youth (ages 11-17) may attend with their parents to further enhance the experience.
Course curriculum is designed to teach parents the importance of using clear rules and consistent supervision to balance their children's behavior with positive social development.
Registration is accepted through the Clark County Family and Youth Services Parenting Project. For more information, call 455-5295.
