Baseball: Hall pitches Rebels to win over San Diego St.

UNLV's Courtney Hall picked up his sixth win of the season, pitching the Rebels to a 6-3 victory at San Diego State on Sunday.
UNLV improved to 16-23 overall (7-11 in the Mountain West Conference) while SDSU falls to 23-16 and 12-6.
Hall (6-5) pitched 6 2/3 innings, giving up three runs on seven hits with a season-high 10 strikeouts. Joe Maruffi gave up only one hit to the final six batters he faced to earn the save.
Joe Jacobitz led the Rebels offensively, finishing 4-for-5 with two RBIs and two runs scored. David Trujillo went 2-for-4, extending his hitting streak to 14 games. Ryan Ruiz finished 2-for-3 with two runs scored.
UNLV continues its road swing next weekend with a three-game series at Air Force. Game time on Friday is 1 p.m.
