Second regional office planned for Las Vegas area

The company that owns Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center and MountainView Hospital in Las Vegas is moving a small regional office to Henderson from San Jose, Calif.
HCA-The Healthcare Co., Nashville, Tenn., has leased 7,600 square feet at the Las Vegas Sun building, 2275 Corporate Circle Drive, said officials with American Nevada Corp. The Las Vegas Sun and American Nevada are owned by the Greenspun family.
About 20 to 25 staff members will work from the administrative office beginning in the summer.
It's the second regional office planned in Southern Nevada by HCA. The company last week made a request for proposals for a patient account service center that would employ about 700 people. Nevada was chosen over Utah as the site of the center, where accounts receivable and billings are reconciled.
An HCA spokesman said the company plans to occupy that service center within the next two years.
