The Community College of Southern Nevada baseball team defeated Los Angeles City College 15-2 Thursday afternoon. Eric Kitchen and Chris Hansen each had three hits and three RBI. The Coyotes (42-7) are ranked 15th nationally in the first National Junior College Athletic Association regular-season poll, which was released Thursday. San Jacinto (Texas) College is ranked No. 1 with a 32-8 record.
