Michael Joseph Biesiada
Michael Joseph Biesiada, 69, of Las Vegas died April 4 in Henderson. He was born July 16, 1931, in Detroit. A resident for seven years, he was a machinist for a manufacturing firm.
He is survived by two daughters, Michele Ankney of Las Vegas and Donna Thompson of Norton, Mass.; one son, Michael Biesiada of Las Vegas; and nine grandchildren.
Graveside services were scheduled at 1:30 p.m. today in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
Calvin L. Brizendine
Calvin L. Brizendine, 79, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 25, 1922, in Salina, Kan. A resident for 35 years, he was a retired project manager and project engineer and member of the Elks.
He is survived by his wife, Katherine M.; and one sister, H. Arline Ewald of Boulder, Colo.
Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. A private burial will follow.
Anthony Broyles
Anthony Broyles, 56, of Henderson died Monday in Henderson. He was born April 28, 1944, in Texas. A resident for 50 years, he was a security officer.
He is survived by six daughters, Marlena Jasso and Elain Hedrick, both of Henderson, Elizabeth Stone of Oklahoma, Dawn May of Wisconsin, Elora Nudd of Las Vegas and Toni Broyles of Nevada; six sons, Tim Broyles, Alan Broyles, Mike Broyles and Robbie Broyles, all of Nevada, and Carl Tshundy and Glenn Tshundy, both of Henderson; one brother, Gaylen Broyles of Texas; and two sisters, Ann Reyes of Nevada and Sue Broyles of Mississippi.
Visitation is scheduled 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. services Saturday in Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson. Burial will be in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
Frank J. Burke
Frank J. Burke, 76, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born July 22, 1924, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 46 years, he was a retired real estate broker, a stage manager and lighting director at several local hotels, a World War II Navy veteran, a member of the Zelzah Shrine Temple and active in Model Railroaders.
He is survived by his wife, Ramona; two sons, Timothy Burke of Mountain Springs and Randy Burke of Las Vegas; and three grandchildren.

Robert DeBats, 59, of Las Vegas died March 13 in North Las Vegas. A security officer, he was born Nov. 24, 1941.

Elaine M. Dehler
Elaine M. Dehler, 78, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 24, 1922, in Minnesota. A resident for 18 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Bill; one son, Jon L. Dehler of Billings, Mont.; two daughters, Mary Chaet of Helena, Mont., and Nancy Hernandez of Billings; one sister, Evelyn Moen of Fergus Falls, Minn.; and nine grandchildren.

Brian Direnzo, 36, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 13, 1964, in Cleveland. A resident for eight years, he was disabled.
He is survived by his parents, Armond and Christine Direnzo, and one sister, Laura Cartellone, all of Las Vegas.
Visitation was scheduled noon-2 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Mass was scheduled at 3 p.m. today in St. Viator Catholic Church, 2461 E. Flamingo Road, followed by burial in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Claude H. Ferguson
Claude H. Ferguson, 86, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 17, 1914, in Denver. A resident for 42 years, he was a retired pharmacist, a World War II Navy veteran, a member of the Zelzah Shrine Temple, Eastern Star, Legion of Honor, Scottish Rite Bodies and Daylite Masonic Lodge 44.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Ann; two daughters, Carol Ann Hughes and Rebecca Sue Aldridge, both of Las Vegas; one son, John David Ferguson of Sandy Valley; and eight grandchildren.
Services will be 10 a.m. Friday in First Presbyterian Church, 1515 W. Charleston Blvd. Burial will follow at 12:30 p.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
Harold Dwain Fraley
Harold Dwain Fraley, 56, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born July 7, 1944, in Riverside, Calif. A resident for 30 years, he was a health care industry maintenance worker.
He is survived by his wife, Glenys; two sons, Brian Fraley of Marina Valley, Calif., and Brent Fraley of Las Vegas; his parents, Lawrence and Elise Fraley, and one sister, Wanda Joslan, all of Marina Valley; and one grandchild.

William Richards Gibbs, 78, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born April 15, 1922, in California. A resident for 28 years, he was an advertising executive who had a career in stage, film and television, was a member of the Round Table and the Senior Citizens Center.
He is survived by one daughter, Deborah Whitlock; and three grandchildren.

Desi L. Hairston, 25, of Las Vegas died Saturday. He was born Nov. 2, 1975, in Salisbury, N.C. A resident for 15 months, he was an apartment complex maintenance man.
He is survived by his wife, Christy; his parents, Lorene and Leon Daugherty of Elloree, S.C., and Willie and Liz Hargrave of Lexington, Ky.; one sister, Kolcey Deann Hargrave, and two brothers, Lazarus Hairston and Keldon D. Hargrave, all of Lexington.

Jane Ellen Hammond, 65, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 10, 1936, in Beaton, Ill. A resident for 16 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Wayne; one daughter, Julie K. Hammond; one son, Chris Hammond; her mother, Jane Suddes; one brother, Rick Suddes; one sister, Susan Smith; and two grandchildren.

Robert L. Hood
Robert L. Hood, 82, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospice. He was born April 28, 1918, in Marion, Ill. A resident for 11 years, he was a quality control inspector who worked at General Motors for 40 years and taught at General Motors Technical College.
He is survived by his wife, Freida; and one nephew, Kenneth Cook of Westland, Mich.

Fred Ivey
Fred Ivey, 58, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local care center. He was born Oct. 3, 1942, in Cincinnati. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired air conditioning technician, a Vietnam War Navy veteran, a member of the Veterans Administration and the Paralyzed Veterans of America.
He is survived by his wife, Camilla; five children; three brothers; and eight grandchildren.

Glen F. Palmer, 73, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born April 10, 1928, in Chicago. A resident for 12 years, he was a retired certified public accountant.
He is survived by his wife, Jean H.; one daughter, Karen Shields of Salt Lake City; three sons, Randy Palmer and Steven Palmer, both of Salt Lake City, and David Palmer of Las Vegas; 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Cleo V. Price, 82, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Sept. 29, 1918, in Kanapolis, Kan. A resident for 38 years, she was a homemaker, retired waitress and bank employee.
She is survived by one son, William D. Price of Las Vegas; and one grandchild.

Jack A. Sandoval, 80, of Henderson died Tuesday in a local health care center. He was born May 4, 1920, in Berwind, Colo. A resident for nine years, he was a retired school district counselor, a World War II Army veteran, a member of the American Legion in Henderson and School Administrators Special Services Association in California.
He is survived by his wife, Irene; one daughter, Sandra Galle of Huntington Beach, Calif.; one son, Stephen Sandoval of San Jose, Calif.; four sisters, Mildred Ortega of Las Vegas, Evelyn Sandoval and Elizabeth Senia, both of Henderson, and Alice Baca of Littleton, Colo.; and two grandchildren.
Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

She is survived by three sons, Ken Skillman of Brawley, Calif., and Doug Skillman and Jeff Skillman, both of Las Vegas; one daughter, Melanie Rudkin of Las Vegas; seven grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

Amy Michelle Spector, 19, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a Washoe County hospital. She was born Sept. 23, 1981, in Las Vegas. She was a choir member and 1999 graduate of Green Valley High School, a student at University of Nevada, Reno, a camp counselor and musician.
She is survived by her parents, Ira and Nanette Spector of Henderson; two brothers, Brandon Spector of Portland, Ore., and Aaron Spector of Henderson; and her grandmother, Libby Spector of Las Vegas.

He is survived by his wife, Georgia; six sons, John Stoafer, Gerald Stoafer, Dan Stoafer, Michael Myers and Marcus Stoafer, all of Las Vegas, and Chuck Stoafer of San Francisco; one daughter, Melissa Stoafer of Las Vegas; one sister, Alice Farris of Kingman, Ariz.; and 10 grandchildren.
