Seniors can meet with the mayor
Senior citizens can ask questions and voice their complaints in a town hall meeting to be hosted by Mayor Oscar Goodman at 1 p.m. May 23.
The event will be held at Pinnacle Community Center's Starbright Theater, 2215 Thomas Ryan Blvd., in Sun City Summerlin.
Concerns will be documented by the mayor's staff and solutions will be presented at the forum if possible.

An Easter musical
will be presented by Shadow Hills Baptist Church at 7 p.m. Friday at the church, 7811 W. Vegas Drive. The program will show the impact the Resurrection had on one family 2,000 years ago and the impact it has on one family today. Admission is free, and child care is provided for children through age 4. For more information, call 880-7811.
Olya Roohizadegan, author of "Olya's Story,"
a survivor's account of the persecution of Baha'i in revolutionary Iran, will speak at 7 p.m. Friday at the Las Vegas Baha'i Center, 7035 W. Oakey Blvd. For more information, call 838-9191.
