Allan C. Abao
Allan C. Abao, 46, of Henderson died Friday in a Florida medical center. He was born Sept. 15, 1954, in the Philippines. A resident for 16 years, he was a card dealer and a member of the Philippine Bisayan Society of Nevada.
He is survived by his companion, Edith Ocampo of Henderson; his mother, Alix Zingaretti, and one brother, Edgar Abao, both of Las Vegas; and three sisters, Lucy Francisco of Las Vegas, Glorina Mutia of the Philippines and Daisy Pleasants of Renton, Wash.
Visitation will continue until 8 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church, 1111 Michael Way.
James T. Arndt
James T. Arndt, 50, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born June 2, 1950, in Evanston, Ill. A resident for 10 years, he owned a cleaning and maintenance business.
He is survived by his wife, Maggie; his mother, Mabel "Bee" Arndt of Sun City West, Ariz.; and one sister, Lynn Stone of Santa Fe, N.M.
Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. today in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 130 N. Pecos Road, Henderson. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens.
Kathryn E. Barnes
Kathryn E. Barnes, 62, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 24, 1938, in Chicago. A resident for six years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Frank; two daughters, Kelly Barnes and Keri Gonzalez, and one sister, Karen Brown, all of Las Vegas; and one grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. services Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
John W. Birtcher
John W. Birtcher, 62, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 27, 1939, in Millfield, Ohio. A resident for 12 years, he was a retired gaming slot person and a Vietnam War Marine Corps veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Rachel E.; one son, Donovan Birtcher of Oregon; three brothers; two sisters; and one grandchild.
Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Kenneth Bushay
Kenneth Bushay, 71, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 22, 1929, in Michigan. A resident for 14 years, he was a retail salesman.
He is survived by a godson, Geno Valentino of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 11 a.m. services Thursday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens.
Sister Agnes Carey
Sister Agnes Carey, 72, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Sept. 10, 1928, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 20 years, she was a retired parochial school principal and teacher. She entered the monastery of the Visitation at 17 years old and spent the last 20 years in Nevada churches in Yerington, Hawthorne, Tonopah, Fallon and at Our Lady of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled 2 p.m. until 7 p.m. services today and 8-9:15 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Mass will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in to Our Lady of Las Vegas Catholic Church, 3050 Alta Drive, Las Vegas.
Dolores Corre
Dolores Corre, 63, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 31, 1937, in Philadelphia. A resident for 38 years, she was a real estate agent.
She is survived by her husband, Ray E.; one son, Kevin Corre of Las Vegas; one brother, Edgar Shuman of Boulder City; and two grandchildren.
Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
Bernadette M. Croce
Bernadette M. Croce, 55, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born June 10, 1945, in Waterbury, Conn. A resident for five years, she was a hotel guest room attendant.
She is survived by one daughter, Teresa J.; one son, Jason M. Croce of Las Vegas; and four sisters, Marion Rawson of Las Vegas, Shirley Schantz of Desert Hot Springs, Calif., Eleanor Tibbetts of Canoga Park, Calif., and Sharon Gunn of Sierra Madre, Calif.
Visitation is scheduled noon until 3 p.m. services Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.

Angela Marie D'Alois, 86, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local care center. She was born March 11, 1915, in Yonkers, N.Y. A resident for one year, she was a retired nurse.
She is survived by one daughter, Roberta D'Alois of San Francisco; two sons, John D'Alois of New Rochelle, N.Y., and Steve D'Alois of Las Vegas; one sister, Diane DeMario of Encino, Calif.; one brother, Buddy Giacco of Sherman Oaks, Calif.; and three grandchildren.

Robert V. 'Bubba' Davis
Robert V. "Bubba" Davis, 75, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born July 10, 1925, in Cleveland, N.Y. A resident for 15 years, he was a sales manager, business owner and Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Party; four sons, Frank Davis of Yakima, Wash., David Hanzlik and Steve Hanzlik, both of Portland, Ore., and Tipper Hanzlik of Vancouver, Wash.; four daughters, Kim Barber of Anchorage, Alaska, Tina Toy and Heidi Hanzlik, both of Portland, and Beni Hanzlik of Stanley, Idaho; two brothers, Richard Davis and Teddy Davis, both of Rome, N.Y.; one sister, Tippi Hedren of Acton, Calif.; 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will follow in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Buchanan Blvd., Boulder City.

Connie Enriquez, 36, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. A resident for seven years, she was born Sept. 21, 1964, in San Diego.
She is survived by her parents, Phyllis and Ascension Enriquez of Las Vegas; two brothers, James Enriquez of Escondido, Calif., and Frank Enriquez of Las Vegas; and five sisters, Linda West and Carmen Cruz, both of Phoenix, Anna Mora of San Antonio, Jane Mendez of Fontana, Calif., and Victoria Campe of Las Vegas.

Madgeline Garner, 84, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 26, 1916, in Essex County, Mo. A resident for 20 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two daughters, Mary Garner and Delores Garner, both of Phoenix; two sons, Jim Garner of Las Vegas and Charles Garner of Logan, Utah; one sister, Mary Ann Nichols of Pontiac, Mich.; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 9 a.m. Thursday in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Patricia Ruth Haralson, 73, of Las Vegas died March 31 in a local health care center. She was born Aug. 3, 1927, in San Antonio. A resident for 40 years, she was a nurse's aide.
She is survived by three daughters, Glenda Mitchell of Bagdad, Ariz., DebbiJo Rose of Salem, Ore., and Ruth Campbell of North Las Vegas; one brother, Bobby Miller, and one sister, Wavlyn Turko, both of Floresville, Texas; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Ernest L. Kalar, 74, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born March 15, 1927, in Madison, Wis. A resident for 12 years, he was a truck driver, a retired postal worker and a World War II Marine Corps veteran.
He is survived by two daughters, Linda Naffin of Mayville, Wis., and Susan Haney of Evansville, Wis.; one son, Robert Kalar of Des Plaines, Ill.; one brother, Charles Kalar of Las Vegas; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Henrietta Keck
Henrietta Keck, 85, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born July 22, 1915, in New York City. A resident for 24 years, she was a retired clothier.
She is survived by three sons, Fred Keck and Robert Keck, both of Las Vegas, and Richard Keck of Annapolis, Md.; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial gathering will be 3-7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.

Georgina "Gina" Legino, 72, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospice. She was born May 7, 1928, in East Los Angeles. A resident for 10 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Nickolas; two daughters, Diana Legino of Las Vegas and Melanie Stephens of Los Angeles; two sons, Steven Legino of Glendale, Calif., and Jacob Nicholas Stephens of Los Angeles; and two sisters, Milana Gotch of San Gabriel, Calif., and Anne Gustovich of Glendale.
Services will be 2 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will be private.

Lucy F. Lozano, 80, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Jan. 15, 1921, in La Boca, Colo. A resident for 40 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by five daughters, Juanita Scott, Mildred Fernandez and Mary Lozano, all of Brighton, Colo., Linda Montoya of Albuquerque, N.M., and Evelyn Lozano of Durango, Colo.; five sons, Albert Lozano of Barrow, Alaska, Joe Lozano and Carl Lozano, both of Las Vegas, Ted Lozano of Broomfield, Colo., and Sam Lozano of Henderson; two sisters, Donna Gutierrez of North Las Vegas and Placida Enriquez of Farmington, N.M.; one brother, Sam Gonzales of Henderson; 30 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today with a 6:30 p.m. rosary in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. A scripture service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Chapel, Henderson.
Helen Lyavsky
Helen Lyavsky, 98, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born March 15, 1903, in the Ukraine. A resident for 10 years, she was a sewing machine operator in the ladies garment industry.
She is survived by three nephews, Robert Levich of Las Vegas, Gene Levich of Liberty, N.Y., and Jeff Bailey of San Francisco.

Travis J. Martin
Travis J. Martin, 6, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 5, 1994, in Honolulu.
He is survived by his parents, Eduardo and Emelda Martin, and one sister, Chelsie Martin, all of Las Vegas; and his grandparents, Dinah and Eduardo Martin Sr. of Las Vegas and Valentine and Anita Africa of Hawaii.
Visitation is scheduled 5-9 p.m. Wednesday with a 6:30 p.m. rosary in Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd. Services will be 9 a.m. Thursday in Davis Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens.

Sean G. Patrick McGrath, 11 months, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born April 18, 2000, in Kansas City, Mo.
He is survived by his mother, Marcy Kosiba, his father, Sean McGrath, and one brother, Jacob Kosiba, all of Las Vegas; his grandparents, Susan Weed of Las Vegas, Joseph Patrick McCarth III of Lees Summit, Mo., Dolly Barton of Anchorage, Alaska, and Steve and Sunny White of Cripple Creek, Colo.; and his great-grandmother, Evelyn Weed of Mesquite.
No local services are scheduled. Services will be in Utah. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

John C. Milton Sr., 70, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born May 11, 1930, in Denver. A resident for two years, he retired as a Postal Service employee after 27 years, was retired from the Air Force after 23 years and was a Korean War and Vietnam War veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Dixie Lee; three daughters, Deborah Davis of Santa Fe, N.M., Linda L. Morris of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Karen L. Tavenner of Las Vegas; two sons, John Milton Jr. of Denver and Dale Tavenner of Las Vegas; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She is survived by two sisters, Cheryle Ann Rasmussen and Rose Marie Freeborn.

Emilie H. Welch
Emilie H. Welch, 80, of Henderson died Saturday in Henderson. A resident for four years, she was born April 11, 1920, in Rhode Island.
She is survived by two daughters, Susan Joiner of Flagstaff, Ariz., and Carol Pacifici of Sherman Oaks, Calif.; and one sister, Sherman Beresford of the U.S. Virgin Islands.
A private memorial service will be 6 p.m. Saturday for family members only. Valley Memorial Crematory, 4855 W. Desert Inn Road, is handling arrangements.
Walter Witowski
Walter Witowski, 71, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born June 28, 1929, in Ohio. A resident for nine years, he was an X-ray technician for Douglas Aircraft and a veteran of the Naval Reserves.
He is survived by one cousin, Mary Nelson.
