Letter: Get facts before criticizing Bush

Brian Greenspun's column on the spy plane in China had the same sketchy information available to all of us. He allowed the ink in his pen to flow faster than logical reasoning from his mind based on fact, and stumbled around the page like a lost novice diplomat-warrior.

The president needs our support, not aimless second-guessing. Your paper bears the responsibility for supporting the president and providing facts, particularly at a time of national crisis.

He should have pocketed his pen until he had the facts.
