Many events planned this week
The 18 Society Foundation presents the 15th annual Salute to Seniors to be held 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at Cashman Center, 850 Las Vegas Blvd. North.
Admission is free and no tickets are required. Parking is free, courtesy of Station Casinos and there will also be a free parking lot tram service available from the parking lot to the entrance.
The program features exhibits, medical screenings, numerous free drawings and free entertainment featuring Johnny Jay and his band. For more information, call 898-0000. All seniors are encouraged to attend.
United Blood Services,
6930 W. Charleston Blvd., has scheduled blood drives at various locations. Call Michelle Keanini at 228-8400.
