Foothill 12, Chaparral 2: Taylor Nielson went 3-for-4 with a double, Ricky Cerrone went 2-for-4 with four RBIs and Grant Stanley threw a four-hitter with eight strikeouts for a Falcon victory.
Cheyenne 8, Cimarron-Memorial 1: Ryan Prince gave up only three hits, struck out nine and walked one, Steve Thurston went 2-for-4, scored two runs and had an RBI, and Derek Baylor scored two runs with one RBI for the Desert Shields.
Bonanza 11, Clark 0: Kameron Francom pitched seven innings with seven strikeouts, allowing only three Charger hits. Greg Garrison was 3-for-5, scoring two runs with three RBIs.
Silverado 6, Palo Verde 5: Mike Welter went 3-for-4, Tyler Coon and Danny Esquer each had two hits for the Skyhawks. Robbie Richards knocked in two hits for the Panthers.
Rancho 8, Desert Pines 1: Roy Gutierrez pitched a complete game three-hitter with 10 strikeouts while going 2-for-4 with two RBIs. Jim Bumcrot went 3-for-4 with two RBIs, and Cal Dunsmoor went 2-for-4 with an RBI for the Rams.
Centennial 9, Mojave 0: The Bulldogs posted their first-ever varsity shutout, with Trent McFarland scattering five singles in seven innings. Rob Arata, Zach Miller and J.C. Leech all had two-run homers for the victors.
Las Vegas 8, Eldorado 7: The Wildcats outlasted the Sundevils in a Northeast Division clash.
SOFTBALL
Rancho 6, Desert Pines 5: Shelly Council went 2-for-2 with two runs and two RBIs for the Rams. Jaguar Socorro Otero had a double and two RBIs.
Bonanza 10, Clark 0: Katie Kaempfer smacked in a home run and two RBIs and Ashlie Vohs went long for another Bengal home run.
Basic 4, Green Valley 3: Marisa Marconi hit a triple for the Wolves. Gator players Trina Dorn and Emily Sully each had one RBI.
Durango 9, Bishop Gorman 0: Aja Sherman fanned 13 batters and hit a triple to shut out the Gaels, while Toni Deltoro went 2-for-4 with a home run, a double and four RBIs. Sara Spenia went 2-for-3 with two triples and Jessica Wadsworth went 3-for-4 with two RBIs.
Eldorado 2, Las Vegas 1, 8 inn.: April Keith hit a two-out single in the top of the eighth to score Sundevil pitcher Crystal Alspaugh, who gave up no hits and had six strikeouts.
Foothill 10, Chaparral 0: Brittany Brady threw a no-hitter to seal the Falcon victory.
Cimarron-Memorial 9, Cheyenne 1: Kristen Jasper went 2-for-3 scoring three runs and Lindy Kennedy went 2-for-3 with a double, triple and two RBIs for a Spartan win.
Centennial 15, Mojave 0 Tory Healy went 4-for-5 with four RBIs for the Bulldogs, who piled up 18 hits and posted no errors.

Bonanza def. Western, 15-11, 6-15, 15-10, 15-9: Chris Braman racked up 20 kills, Brett Call had 16 kills and Zach Taylor put up 47 assists for the Bengals.
Chaparral def. Green Valley 15-9, 12-15, 15-11, 13-15, 15-8: David Garrard posted 33 kills, Sindre Storvoll had 24 kills, Andy Wayerski put up 73 assists and Ricky Lopez had 10 blocks in the Cowboy win.
